Frank fired Tatiana but I'm pretty sure Mike asked him to. According to Jennifer, Mike's guitarist, he was upset at the on stage kiss. Stage is home to him and she disrupted that. So she got fired. I'm not sure whether or not they kept in contact, but I want to say they didn't because he was on tour at that time.. and this was the late 80s before everyone had access to cell phones and what not. She might have tried to get at him through other people and maybe some letters, but I'm sure things eventually faded. She messed that up GOOD, poor thing.

Also, since at some point Joe was managing her, I'm sure she attempted through him to keep in contact with Mike.. but we all know Mike was hot and cold with his father...

.. anyway just wanted to throw that out there... Just reading the thread.. Carry on. :lol:

haha i had heard that. And somewhere too it said that Lisa wouldn't marry anyone she wasn't sexually compatible with. oh, and on playboy she said that she liked to do it "porn style" something like that. lol so i guess the way michael moved on stage was not only for the audience hahaha :wink:

yea i was iffy about this too because in the video i posted a while ago where Michael is with Lisa in LA he is holding Rileys hand. And in the africa video that someone posted earlier he is also holding Riley's hand and she seems to be perfectly fine with it. I don't think it is true about the "Riley disliking michael" thing. Also, Riley, until now, had no reason to defend michael, with Lisa being a bitter and stuff. Riley, even BEFORE mike's death has never said anything bad about him. While her mom was talking smack.
 
oh and in the book he messes up because Taraborrelli then says that THAT (because Riley disliked michael) was the reason why Lisa and the kids wouldn't spend more than 3 days at Neverland and that those were the times they lived together etc. Yea, but see from i've heard from both Michael and Lisa, Michael lived with Lisa at HER house. When he wasn't touring he was at Lisa's, staying for 6-7 months at a time. So the author must have gotten this wrong because neverland was more like a vacation home for Michael. Especially being 3 hours away and stuff.

i also didn't believe alot of the things mentioned in the book but when it got to Lisa and Michael i had "selective believes" meaning that i select the areas of the book in where i "suddenly" believe strongly in , while in others i don't. lol :smile:

Did you find out about that, this is really interesting. If it's true, it kind of mean they are still in a very good term up til 2002. As Lisa said in her interview that MJ called her after she divorced Nic. This would really make sense why she wasn't there for him during the trial, she was still mad at him. Whatever the reason that they couldn't get back together, must make Lisa so mad. She dumped 2 guys during that time. It started to make sense now, as she start trashing him from 2003, why not before?

Which Video is that they're together in LA with her kids, do you mind post the link again? Riley was also asked about bad memory about MJ, she said "Only good memories". I read the book, it's a half fiction base on his research. I really doubt the source who's Lisa's friend would say that much? They must not be friend anymore.

As for the conflict of the interview Lisa did, about wanted a divorce after MJ did the nose story interview. I guess it was a mistake she did, she didn't actually remember the timing.. of the real divorce in 1996 and the real broke up in 1999 because they didn't accept the fact that they were together and the media's not suppose to know that.
 
My thoughts on Riley and Taraborelli's claim that she didn't like Michael are that probably when Lisa and Michael first got together, Riley might have thought of Michael as a 'rival' to her father. She was like 4 or 5 years old at that time. Michael was replacing her father and she might not have liked that. But I do think after Michael spent time with Lisa's kids and they got used to him, they probably got along just fine. Especially since the kids were still seeing their father regularly.

But Riley has since proven that she liked and respected her step-father. So if any of Taraborelli's claims have truth to them, Riley must have grown out of that quickly and ended up liking Michael a lot!

and I couldn't find out more about the Nic cage think. But if Nic did say that in an interview then its safe to say that Lisa did leave Nic, or had problems with Nic because of Michael. And that does explain the trials and stuff, and why she felt used, especially if the neverland ditching thing in 2003 is true.

yup, i exactly agree!

Michael was the first man that Lisa had in her life after Danny so Riley must have at the beginning been a little iffy about Michael. Especially since Danny still lived and still lives with Lisa. But i too think Riley got over that quickly. Lisa even said it herself that Michael when he wanted could be extremely charming. He probably wanted Riley to really like him and it worked.

besides, like i said before, Riley didn't have to defend michael when her mom was bashing about him. Most kids who dislike their step parents as kids never like them as adults. Riley liked him enough to say, WHILE her mom was bashing, that she only had good memories of michael.

Also, Danny has never liked Michael, so there is a possibility to was acting all bitter and probably told Riley or unintentionally showed riley that he didn't like Michael. Maybe he said something thinking riley wasn't listening. People sometimes forget how smart kids really are.

I thought her response about the whole trial thing , was " Its a blessing in disguise and some other BS and she said she felt nothing watching him go through that" I think she said that crap on Larry King if I'm not mistaken.

By the way I wonder how her husband feels right now with whatever she is going through. It must suck comforting your wife, with her being distraught over another man. And I'm conflicted. I want to believe Lisa is really heartbroken, cuz I think MJ really did love her. He looked so happy with her. But how do we know its not guilt . Thats why she is in such pain right now. This woman dissed him from 2003 through 2008. I read where Marilyn manson said him and other friends would go to her house and diss MJ and they would have a laugh about it. And to cheer her up, he, Manson had two ugly MJ dolls and they would do skits aboutr Mike. Basically trashing him. Anybody read that interview with manson?
