We don't know if MJ recorded the full song or not iircEaten Alive is 100% confirmed to exist, but it's from 1985 though.

I think he did. Just like Barry did demos for all the songs he wrote (like 90% of the album), so did MJ for Eaten Alive, which is his with Barry's contributions later on.We don't know if MJ recorded the full song or not iirc
I'm pretty sure MJ didn't write it and just suggested changes to the chorus.I think he did. Just like Barry did demos for all the songs he wrote (like 90% of the album), so did MJ for Eaten Alive, which is his with Barry's contributions later on.
I know this is ironic but I'd actually love to see the Estate make an anniversary edition of Michael. Include the demo versions of Another Day and Best Of Joy, include unreleased songs from the 2000s (like Rocker, H20, Water and Boy No) and it wouldn't be such a bad project after all.next year they should release Michael 10 with all the unreleased remixes!
and of course disk 3 - Bible album feat. Jason Malachi.

Mix the extra vocals from the remix and that'd be solid. I always preferred the leaked version of HMH over the remix but it doesn't have as much MJ vocals, mix the instrumental from the demo and the vocals from the remix and that would be the best of both worlds. That would be pretty nice to think about...
1. Hold My Hand (original leaked version)
“Who Do You Know” was never confirmed to my knowledge. There is a song with that title, but I don’t know if it’s ever been connected to “Behind the Mask.”9. Who Do You Know (Michael's demo for Behind the Mask) or I Have This Dream (either the original demo or the all-star mix)
10. Much Too Soon (Mix #9 aka the mix Michael approved)
To be honest, I wasn't really sure what I was thinking when I connected "Who Do You Know" to "Behind the Mask." I just saw the title and went "hey, this sounds similar to that one line in the pre-chorus!" Since the demo's already getting released on Thriller 40, I don't know what version to put other than the redone 1985 mix with "new" lyrics.“Who Do You Know” was never confirmed to my knowledge. There is a song with that title, but I don’t know if it’s ever been connected to “Behind the Mask.”
I would be astonished if the all-star version of “I Have This Dream” ever comes out. If it does, it would require permission from all of the participating artists and the removal of R. Kelly (which Damien Shields said MJ was intent on doing anyways). I also don’t think MJ ever recorded a full vocal, just his solo section — which he later felt wasn’t up to par.
why would mj want to remove r kelly from a song whilst he was alive sounds like bs“Who Do You Know” was never confirmed to my knowledge. There is a song with that title, but I don’t know if it’s ever been connected to “Behind the Mask.”

It's possibly because Michael thought that R. Kelly's vocals weren't up to snuff. I doubt it was because of the accusations that arose around the same time, because he was still willing to work with Kelly before his death (or at the very least, Kelly was still willing to work with him).why would mj want to remove r kelly from a song whilst he was alive sounds like bs
I always took the “700-800 songs” quote as gross exaggeration. Even if Quincy and MJ did comb through that many, I can’t imagine many made it past listening to the writer’s demos and saying, “Next.” On top of that, think of how many songs we’ve heard that were written/recorded during the Thriller sessions:The more I get into Thriller the more I want to know about the 700/800 songs they went through to make Thriller. I think it would be logical that there are a couple of tracks left from this era that have MJ vocals. You don't go through hundreds of songs without trying some of them out.
i dont think mj was thinking about that song after 2003, everybody had heard it already heard it 6 years earlierIt's possibly because Michael thought that R. Kelly's vocals weren't up to snuff. I’m gonna presume it was the pedophilia and sexual abuse claims. I can imagine MJ was sympathetic at first given that he was the victim of false allegations, but once the cases started picking up steam through the mid-2000s, perhaps his management finally got through to him.why would mj want to remove r kelly from a song whilst he was alive sounds like bs
I'm not talking about One More Chance, but rather that song that Kelly intended for Michael. I forgot the song name, but I think Robert might've been planning on having it be recorded by MJ.i dont think mj was thinking about that song after 2003, everybody had heard it already heard it 6 years earlier
Quincy said at least 30 songs were recorded, so that means that there's at least ten more songs that we don't even know about. Now I don't know about their state of completion; they may as well be instrumentals with scratch vocals; but it's highly possible that those songs might've been considered for Thriller at one point or another.I always took the “700-800 songs” quote as gross exaggeration. There are many more song titles with no background, but that’s two albums’ worth of material. I can’t imagine there’s much left over, at least from the Westlake sessions.
- Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’
- Baby Be Mine
- The Girl Is Mine
- Thriller
- Beat It
- Billie Jean
- Human Nature
- P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)
- The Lady in My Life
- Carousel
- Got the Hots
- Starlight
- Behind the Mask
- The Toy
- Sunset Driver
- She’s Trouble
- Hot Street
- Nightline
- Don’t Be Messin’ ‘Round

That is the first I heard of that statement but it sounds promising. Perhaps he also considered someone in the dark, be not always, the Mercury sessions, CGOOTR, There are a lot of things that have yet to be cleared up.I'm not talking about One More Chance, but rather that song that Kelly intended for Michael. The Mercury sessions were in 1983, so they definitely weren’t considered for Thriller. That is the first I heard of that statement but it sounds promising. If these were part of the thriller project then only a handful of unheard songs remain.
I remember this demo. Ppl don't speak about it much here. I can imagine mj singing this 1. It would've been something new. He has the best mj vocal impression (for demos)Are you talking about this one?
Never liked this one. It feels half-assed. R. Kelly has two other songs (“Not Feeling the Love” and “Feelin’ Single”) that are clearly MJ demos and they’re far superior. Are you talking about this one?
well i simply would prefer Hot Street and Niteline to be released, instead of Starlight and CGOTR.Because it's the demo to the title track............
Odd. Seems like it’ll confuse anyone who isn’t familiar with the backstory. “Carousel isn’t listed as a demo, and neither is Starlight! They both must be brand-new, finished songs!”Starlight is the opening track on Disc 2 and is not labeled a demo.

When was this made? Because we've already known about some of those songs for a while now. And also it's highly unlikely that Spice Of Life exists so that tracklist might as well be fake.It seems like this tracklist from weeks ago may be real then ? Only 2 weeks to find out..
If you know about YouTube leaks, you wouldn'tEveryone here focused on CGOTR but did you ever consider the long title songs like ''scared of the moon'', ''we are here to change to world'', etc.
They were all recorded well after Thriller.Everyone here focused on CGOTR but did you ever consider the long title songs like ''scared of the moon'', ''we are here to change to world'', etc.
