A song similar to Human Nature. I want to hear it right now, along with Chicago 1945.

I also love For All Time, which was also written by Porcano.

It seems that Porcana and Michael created magic together.
Yes, love all the songs they did together.

Yeah, somebody recorded “Chicago 1945” in surprisingly good quality. I’ve heard like three seconds of it. It was also implied that they recorded “Dream Away.”
Consider yourself lucky lol. Do you think the song may actually leak soon?

Your first impressions on C45?
Like I said, I only heard a few seconds of the chorus (“—mystery that Chicago night?”) so I can’t say all that much about the full track.

But I really like the little I’ve heard! I was expecting it to be somewhat sinister, like “Heartbreak Hotel” or “Thriller,” but it’s a lot groovier. The tempo is similar to “Billie Jean,” the synth bass sounds like it was pounding the speakers in the best way, the drums are classic ‘80s synth-funk, and the vocals aren’t belted like I was anticipating.

I’m thinking yes. No guarantee, but seminar recordings seem to seep out.

Agree. It’s quite funny to me.

They’ve shown with the 4K videos that they can absolutely knock it out of the park, they can only be faulted for how they ended up online but who cares.

These alternate artworks etc often don’t quite come up to scratch, and whilst the final offering isn’t the best thing ever it’s still a lot better than others I’ve seen who claim to be better than the real deal.
They want the Estate to do better and give effort and yet the also just demean it as often as possible. You ain't gotta love everything, but get over yourselves some. Twitter fans in particular are just kinda rabid.

I feel this mostly started with Damien Shields. His info is good but he likes to complain a lot. He's the investigator on the Casio tracks and all, but 1. He wasn't the one that sued them and 2. We won. But I digress. Ever since then he's really acted like a moral superiost on some things.

Surely this is not acceptable these are now commercial songs getting released.
Call yourself a fan I don't think so. Would you do this to MICHAEL if he was still alive.
Beyond appalled.
Gary surely you will not allow this.
I won't be opening these I want to hear on Friday in great quality and on good equipment.
Lady it's just a joke. Quit with the moral aggrandizement.

I hate another Estate too that don't listen to their fan Tupac Shakur Estate thank god a year ago someone send me a link of it to the full Vault of Unreleased songs of Tupac i still have them

Chicago 1945 lyrics:
Chi-caaagooo x3
Chicago
1st verse:
It was Chicago 1945
Cubs lost that year
But Al Capone was found alive
The sewers for the days and the suburbs of the night
But they found him
Alive x2
Young Joe Dimaggio Hit his first home run
People gather round Ask him :
Bit. the. sun
Three girls disappeared
On a cold windy night
CHORUS :
Never to be found again x2
SO!
Who solved the mystery of Chicago Night
They can't hide the truth so won't you turn on the light
Who solved the mystery of Chicago Night
Never to be found again x2
Never found again
Never to be found again
found again x2
2nd verse:
If you so windy
Your head be with air
People gather round
To see the world's fair
Who was so happy
But sad of the truth
So what was going on
They didn't know the girls were missing, missing
You can't do what they say
Nobody can (Hee-Hee x2)
Because on the cover of the Chicago Tribune
Beat you to the world's fair
They didn't bother
The know it's the truth
CHORUS "Break":
Never to be found again
found again x many times throught with some of the following ad libs
YOU CANT FIND ANYTHING
CHICAGOOOO LOVE YOUUU
YOU CANT FIND ANYTHING
CHICAGOOOO
LOVE YOUUU
(Small instrumental)
CHI-CAAAAAGO x4
3rd verse:
It was Chicago 1945
Cubs lost that year
But Al Capone was found alive
The sewers for the days and the suburbs of the night
So what was going on?
They didn't know the girls were missing, missing
Can't do what they say
Nobody can
Because on the cover of the Chicago Tribune
Beat you to the world's fair
They didn't bother
Though it is a scene
CHORUS with ad libs such as:
TELL ME x3
YOU CAN'T HIDE THE TRUTH
TELL ME x2
HEE HEE X2
CHICAGOOOO
DIDN'T FIND ANYTHING x2

Holy shit dude, where did you find this? Thank you very much for posting it, the song sounds like a complete banger. It HAS to be heard no matter what.

A piece of 5:45 minutes (but Michael sings only during 5:04 minutes, the last seconds, there is nothing) that Steve Porcaro made us listen to. It starts with police sirens, Michael repeating “Chicago” three times, then the music kicks in.

The title is punchy, catchy. We hear about Al Capone (but nothing to do with the piece of the same name that we heard on Bad 25 ) and Michael very often repeats "Chicago Nights". It could even have been the title of the song.

has C 1945 leaked. where are people getting the lyrics from ?

From On MJ’s Footsteps:

Steve Porcaro makes us listen to “Dream Away,” an unreleased title of 4:43 minutes. Michael never stopped creating, and the track was composed a week after the Thriller album was released.

Steve Porcaro never wanted to release the title out of respect for Michael. He was approached by the Estate of Michael Jackson to include this title in the Xscape project in 2014 but he refused, especially since the Estate did not wish to invest financially in this song. (Porcaro hates the Xscape album and thinks Michael wouldn't have liked the remixes.)

(Several sites indicate that it is for the song “Chicago 1945” that Steve Porcaro would have been approached by the Estate. Yet on the notes that I took he talks about it well when he talks about “Dream Away.” To be confirmed then.]

Porcaro would like to finish “Dream Away” and offer it to another current artist, Bruno Mars perhaps.

Listening to “Dream Away” was like a moment suspended in time. The title, a ballad, is magnificent. Michael's crystalline voice invaded the studio for a few minutes and it was simply magical. I got shivers all over my body and couldn't help but cry. For Michael and Steve Porcaro it's a demo but I think it's a very accomplished demo, which would have its place on an album project. A title a little in the spirit of “Be Not Always,” from the album Victory, with more melody. However, I don't remember hearing “dream away” in the lyrics of the song.

But even though I really like Bruno Mars, his voice will never match what we heard in the studio. This title must stay with Michael's voice, I want to be able to hear his final “pa pa pa” again! Big thumbs up for this piece!

About a month after the Thriller album , another unreleased track emerged, “Chicago 1945,” Steve Poracro gave a tape with instrumentals to Michael who went to a library to find out about the events that had taken place in Chicago in the 1940s. And he made a song out of it.

A piece of 5:45 minutes (but Michael sings only during 5:04 minutes, the last seconds, there is nothing) that Steve Porcaro made us listen to. It starts with police sirens, Michael repeating “Chicago” three times, then the music kicks in.

The emotion is less present than on “Dream Away,” there is even a kind of excitement at the idea of hearing this title which we have so often heard about. The fans present shake their heads, stamp their feet (Steve Porcaro too!). It's fresh, it moves, this piece is a bomb!

A Toto fan remarks that the “Chicago 1945” chords are reminiscent of the track “It's A Feeling” from the 1982 album, Toto IV.

“Chicago 1945” has long remained in Steve Porcaro's archives. He thought the title would be used for Bad 25. David Williams told Porcaro that he believes the title got reworked at some point. “The world needs to hear this title, but in the right way,” Porcaro finally said.

“You should have seen Michael do the vocals on that song. He managed everything spontaneously, the harmonies… He did nine complete takes for ‘Chicago 1945.’ After the nine takes, he went home. He was pure genius!”

As expected, Nothing at my local Target.
