Somebody clearly doesn't have a clue here...
This is the first song to leak before its official announcement (second if you consider the website that featured a preview of “Can’t Get Outta the Rain”). Credit where credit is due: the estate did a damn good job keeping the track listing under wraps up to a week before release.no i'm here. great that it's confirmed. just shows you how sloppy the estate are if it was announced beforehand
you forgot The ToyThis is the first song to leak before its official announcement (second if you consider the website that featured a preview of “Can’t Get Outta the Rain”). Credit where credit is due: the estate did a damn good job keeping the track listing under wraps up to a week before release.
i think The Toy was announced before too. someone clever played around with the photo URLThis is the first song to leak before its official announcement (second if you consider the website that featured a preview of “Can’t Get Outta the Rain”). i would put BTM in the bottom list since we have never heard Michael's original version.. only the weird mix from 2010so, its a 50/50 split of released and unreleased/leaked.
Released:
Behind the Mask
Sunset Driver
Cant get Outta the Rain
Carousel
Got the Hots
Unreleased/Leaked:
What a Lovely way to go
Starlight
The Toy
She's Trouble
Who do you Know
This is an EXTREMELY quality release, as it allows people to purchase a physical copy of these rarer songs found on One-Offs and the Ultimate collection, and there are 5 NEVER RELEASED songs on top of that.
this is probably one of the greatest music-related projects the estate has ever released.
You must have some amazing memoriesand who MJ knew for 20 years
yes i could fill a book. one day i'll write one. i had many many special things happen. thank you.You must have some amazing memories
Exactly so. I already said something along these lines a while back. I'm not really expecting it, tbh, but it is possible. The 40th anniversary for all the singles, for Thriller the short film, BJ and Beat It as well. M25 (seperate event but closely linked, obvs).Guys this could be the first CD project of the Thriller 40 campaign.. we might get more music in 2023 or 2024. Thriller was around for ages first time around. it was still on the charts three years later in 1985 !
Yeah we knew the announcement from the toy about one week before it's confirmationi think The Toy was announced before too. someone clever played around with the photo URL
Victory could have been dope if only had MJ put his heart and soul in its recording proccess like he did on the previous album, Triumph. The fact that it was also considered for Victory would indicate that it's mostly complete?
I wonder if it's an uptempo track or a ballad?
Fair point but he wanted out by then so I guess that was never gonna happen. Can't blame him, really. He was straining at the leash to get away, it seems to me. Poor guy.Victory could have been dope if only had MJ put his heart and soul in its recording proccess like he did on the previous album, Triumph.
I hadn't even considered this.
