I'm saying the article on HP didn't appear to be tabloidish - from the source I brought in.

And why couldn't it be believable? Is it because HP is geared towards kids so it has to be 'dirty'?? I must be naive in that case, because that's not what I read into it at all....I thought that it could be true because the HP cast is British, lives in London and MJ likes Magic and I'd bet his kids do too.

All the Hollywood & London celebrities are probably trying to get comps - why can't MJ offer comps to British celebrities?

No, no, no. Cause the story is complete BULLISH. When does personal belief in a story constitute truth? I believed the Russian performance was true (really), but that turned out to be false.

It doesn't matter that it's written without insulting him by news24. The source where it came from is trash.

Here,

http://www.blackbookmag.com/article/michael-jackson-finds-comeback-muse-in-britney-spears/6907

They are NOW combining all of these stories and are going to roll them together to make the whole thing look like some attempt to be like "Britney Spears".

And now, we have Peta going after him for the animals story.

http://www.nme.com/news/michael-jackson/43691

They start this crap themselves, create a ridiculous story and then bash him for something they made up.

BULLISH!!

Has anyone noticed the strange little tabloids stories day by day since Michael sold out his 02 concerts. Another one today is that Michael wants to ride a big live elephant during the concert with birds flying around his head etc during a jungle scene section of the concert. ROTFL! Yeah right!

don't get me wrong but I sure hope that sick idiot Ian Halperin either gets imprisoned or beaten up like never before...

Some times, even if its a tabloid story and a completely ridiculus one- maybe we could sort of, just laugh and then ignore it?
Not that long till summer comes, and all the fun realy begins- so why get down over a stupid and fabricated story ( most people will understand that its just plain fanasy- and those that dont, well as they say: you cant cure stupidity?).

I loved the headsets, by the way. Especially the one inspired by "Will you be there". Very nice!!

Just read that peta animal rights story...Cant they leave mike alone!!!!

PETA is the lamest organization I've ever seen. Any idiot who wants to rename fish "Sea Kittens" has freakin issues.

yeah..and they left out that MJ left animals in good care, in natural environments that preserved them more. plus he took care of animals better than peta ever could. plus there have been real animal issues that peta ignored. so what peta is looking for is publicity, and they know they can get it from Michael. they are phony ass, and don't care about life at all.

there are circuses(complete with animals) all over the world that peta never bothers to address, so this is truly a phony ass organization. how come peta doesn't make a lot of noise about sigfried and roy, mj's good friends? cus they're not as famous as MJ, even tho they are very famous. peta probably has seen some of their shows then went to the crap tables in vegas, afterwards. peta are bastards and a*******. they pick and choose whatever will make them famous. they're nothing more than social climbers.

See, this is why I am so proud of MJ for continuing to keep the release date of his album under tight wraps.

You know what else I love, MJ Fans? I love that they didn't get a chance to act up before he announced his plans to step back on stage. See, he never dropped any real hints that he was about to kick all of this off. Before they got a chance to sabotage his plans, all of the shows were already sold out.

Love you, Michael. Keep everything on the under just like you've been doing! Don't let them find out about any of the fun things you are working on until it's already on top of them! Hope you're having fun rehearsing. :flowers:

Absolutely correct!! Everything should be made known by MJ totally unexpectedly!
Of course he's risking having some fans getting heart attacks!

I have a hard time seeing PETA as a legitimate organization. They are opportunists.

Michael has always been known as an animal lover his entire career. He has never been known to cause any harm to animals.

For real. That's exactly what they are. Like I said in the other thread, I really care about animals, but PETA does nothing but give animal rights a bad name. The hiliarity of them attacking Michael is that Michael is a known animal rights activist. It's just unbeleiveable that they would choose to pick on him. Nothing but dim wits.

That story is probably made up by the tabloids as well. Even peta isn't that wacky. I mean I assume they have been to the circus or know a little about India. People DO ride elephants without harming them.

I can't believe how wacky the news got this week. It is a regular feeding frenzy. And I saw a Mark Lucas as author of one of the elephant stories. Wasn't he a reasonable member of this board at one time? Was he a troll? Do we have 2 Mark Lucas'?

PETA IS that wacky. Their freakin' President has it in her will to turn her skin in to funiture when she dies. It's run by a bunch of pychos. There's a million organizations way more legit then them, like Humane Society, ASPCA, NRDC, etc... They never attack celebrities, they just do good work.

Well it is because they have been so over the top in the past that the tabloids would try that story. My first thought was "Oh boy Peta is being wack as usual" and then I had second thoughts and figured that story was made up too.

I feel the same way you do about Peta btw.

Yeah, but I just wouldn't put this past them, at all. They've attacked Michael three or four times now that I've heard of, all over things as stupid and unsubstantiated at this.

1983 - Michael Jackson performed the moonwalk for a live audience for the first time during a performance of "Billie Jean." "Motown 25: Yesterday, Today and Forever" was a television special that aired on May 16, 1983. During the show Jackson performed as a solo artist and with his brothers.

Sigh:wub: May 16, 1983 back when I was 10 years old is when my fandom started. I shall never forget .

PETA has lost all credibility, in my opinion. They were once an upstanding organization, but have since lost their way.

Between their antics at various fashion shows and their quest for media attention by any means, they are no longer a viable force. They have become violent, disruptive and childish over the years and I believe most folks realize that.

I'm all for getting your message out there, but NOT at the safety of others.

Jackson plans Potter passes:

London - Michael Jackson has invited stars of the Harry Potter movies to the opening night of his This Is It shows.

The three main stars from the wizard franchise - Daniel Radcliffe, 19, Emma Watson, 18, and Rupert Grint, 20 - have reportedly been offered access all areas passes for the start of Michael's farewell residency at London's O2 arena on July 8.

"Michael is a huge fan of the Harry Potter books and films," a source told Britain's The Sun newspaper.

"He was utterly enchanted by the magic of JK Rowling's novels and owns all the movies and he has bought memorabilia for his collection."
Michael is said to be such a big Harry Potter fan he owns a first edition copy of JK Rowling's debut novel Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, which is worth around £10,000 ($14,484).

Turning up by boat
Meanwhile, it has been revealed Michael will travel to each show on a boat, because he is afraid of helicopters and doesn't like to publicly ride in cars. "He loves the idea of turning up by boat - he thinks it's much more glamorous and very James Bond," a source said.

Around 750 000 tickets for Michael's record-breaking 50 shows at the O2 arena sold out in a single morning earlier this month. Tickets are so sought after, superstar soccer player David Beckham has reportedly even resorted to phoning up and using his status to ask for passes.

BTW, THIS is the source for that article

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/article2336699.ece

A majority of the media outlets that reported the story said the SUN was their source for the article, INCLUDING MTV-UK.

The SUN is tabloid

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sun_(newspaper)

And it's also the source of the Plastic Surgery stories and a variety of other malicious stories (they seem to be on a roll as of late).

Who wants to take a guess as to who is feeding the SUN its material?

Could it be IAN?

I believe you - the source is a UK Tabloid....but why couldn't it be true - that he likes HP movies and invited the ADULT stars of the movies to see his show - the all access passes are probably bogus, but he could have invited them as VIP's to see the concerts.

The plastic surgery could also be true then right? I mean, I personally don't see nothing wrong with a little PS....so...

...It's the crazy SUN that's putting out a whole string of stories. You see the one where the girl said she was "stroked"?

complete garbage.

Like the NE in the USA

Where oh where are the stories naming MJ "PERSON OF THE YEAR" or "ARTIST OF THE CENTURY" or something like that?? Doesn't he deserve it? He's broken RECORDS!

I love animals and applaud anyone who works with them but NOT PETA. They are so childish and unprofessional. They are more interested in publicity than working for animals. What I think is disgraceful as well is how they also put into their little press release about Michael's animals that were at Neverland. He was investigated for all that because of their nonsense and he was cleared. How can any legitimate professional people comment on a tabloid story as fact. They are laughable. This is one time I would love for Michael to release a two sentence statement just saying how laughable for people to put credence into a tabloid story. Short and sweet. It would show them up. But I also agree with just ignoring the damn idiots because they just want publicity. LOL! A statement just saying F*** PETA! would be classic. LOL!

oddly enough PETA did write the AEG.O2 people - here is the link http://blog.peta.org/archives/MJ%20letter.jpg

the problem is that they are getting their info from a Tabloid - so they are upset for no factual reason - and we know that MJ's animals weren't abandoned when he left Neverland - they were properly cared for until they found new homes.
