VOTE 4 Michael - MTV VMAs' 10 Best Performances Ever

Re: MTV VMAs' 10 Best Performances Ever

It's like you've never even heard of the rap/hip hop genre. Have you been in a coma or in a cave?

^^Now that was not a very nice thing to say to me was it?

I should have posted a smiley after that. Humor sometimes doesn't translate well in text format.

The point I was trying to get across was that it was odd you seem surprised that rap/hip hop exists, as if you never heard it before.

... :)

Voted for the one and only King!!! :) He's leading with more than 46% votes! :yes:Let's show the world again ( as always!) that Michael Jackson fans are legion and they'll make sure their idol who is the GREATEST artist, performer AND humanitarian to ever walk this planet stays where he deserves to be-at the top, glorious, powerful, victorious forever!

And I just LOVE what the bilboard website says about the eternal King of Pop!
:jump:So true...

Michael Jackson proved, yet again, just why he's the King of Pop at the '95 show. Not only did he give MTV viewers a 15-minute medley of many of his biggest hits (including "Beat It" "Billie Jean" "Black Or White," "The Way You Make Me Feel," and more); he did it with on-stage costume changes, moonwalking, Slash shredding on guitar, dance-fighting, enough crotch-grabbing for the whole of the '90s, and a speech in the middle to boot. Such was the awesome power of the memory of this spectacular MJ performance, which we're pretty sure was the longest in the history of the VMAs.

The King of Pop rules forever!!!:cheers::flowers::woohoo:

I just voted for Michael again-when are they going to close the poll? He's winning by a landslide. By the way, this is going to sound stupid, but just today I saw the VMA opener where Madonna sang "Express Yourself"-it was really fantastic-I loved it-and it was night and day better than the video version. I don't know what year it was (1989?) I didn't get cable until 95-in time to see Michael's medley with Slash/Lisa Marie in audience. I got lucky to see Michael's actual videos on network TV-Soul Train, American Bandstand, specials on CBS, etc.
