Thanks for uploading! I was so miffed when my Hotel didn't have the channel...
Sure, hardcore Michael Fans didn't see anything new- I didn't expect it either. I also didn't expect every detail from thousands of pages of court transcripts being squished into one hour of TV with God knows how many commercial interruptions- it's extremely difficult to expand on anything really within a 10 minutes segment that will get interrupted as soon as they start elaborating- given the facts of American TV they did a GREAT job, could have been a lot different. I remember VH1's "Crime Scene" which was a sad joke...
Thank you to Aphrodite Jones risking her name once again- and showing once more that there really is no pleasing anyone, MJ bashing Journalists call it "love letter" (by the way what do they call Thomas Mesereau?? Nothing because he's such an enigma...) and some MJ fans are not happy either...she wrote a book that is worthwhile supporting, and court documents are public if anybody wants EVERY detail.
This was great for the general public who still thinks that MJ "bought" his way out off a trial in 1993.
Props to Jones for honestly describing the media witch hunt and hat off to Mr. Mesereau for several thinks:
- mentioning "celebrity friends" proclaiming their great love for MJ when in 2005 nobody wanted to be involved. That one was like the zinger that should make some of those who partake in the hypocrisy think...not mentioning names is even better.
- pointing out Bashir's role- MJ fans were ready to tar and feather him years ago- but so far NO media outlet dared to say it out loud
- taking the blame for "Pajama Day" which is one of the strangely hyped occurrence, thank you being a human being.
I personally had hoped to hear Ms Yu's point of view as well.
But overall, thank you so much, it's people like Jones, Mesereau, Yu who had the guts to back him up when noone else did- now it's considered the happening thing, for years that wasn't the case. I'm glad this documentary exists.:agree::agree::clapping:
