i just got a letter from my doctor she going on holidays so that's way i got a letter from her

she say that i have bad health is not good :yes:

i have high colcler (sorry about my spell) you know what i mean right :wink: she whats me to take colcler pills but my mom doesn't what me too cause that's what happen to my father :yes:
in 3 mouth i have to take blood test that'll be fun yeah :cry:

i'm very sorry know i have to watch what i eat i can't eat anything bad food that is very sad :cry: :mat:

can you please help me what is the right food to eat for my IBS cause i don't know i think i have to trun into bunny :yes: :lol:

I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe your doctor should refer you to a Nutritionist who can help you get on a plan that works for you. I hope it works out.:)

Don't worry, it's ok to be a bunny, bunnies are cute :D

I dont know the member personally but my suggestion is talk to KOPV. From what ive seen in another thread he will know what to eat n what not to eat if you explain your problem to him.

:yes: my doctor sat to me that i have to go the hospital to be in group at other people who have IBS too the Nutritionist is going to help me, help my problems i have i'm going on aug 8 that is soon :yes:
i'm going to miss my others foods i eat know i can't eat it at all

know i'm so scary cause i have alot of health problems when i was 3 years old and the book never close i just what to be happy again and health and joy and be myself again but i'm don't myself at all :no: :cry:

what is fibre?
Fiber can be found in whole grains, vegetables and fruits. :yes: But for IBS, it needs to be a soluble fiber, so you have to be careful on fruits & veggies, cause some of them are insoluble.

Since you are going to have a nutritionist soon on Aug. 8, that is good. :yes: he/she will tell you the essentials.

Rockstar, you are like WAYYYY too young to be having Irritable Bowel Syndrome!

And believe it or not, there are 'good' foods that are good for you that you might actually like.

And do you mean you have high cholesterol???

If that's what you mean, you have to correct the condition because it can lead to heart disease and diabetes.

Dr. Watson is the only person I know who has taken the time to fully explain a number of common gastrointestinal issues, including IBS and prescribe natural solutions to help deal with the problem, including the correct diet for the condition (you may not like it, but it beats being sick, honey) and natural supplements.

Also Rockstar, Dr. Watson has a book out called 'Fiber 35' that goes into great detail of what fiber is, the different kinds of fiber and what foods you can find fiber in.

Well, I took a guess that it was what you were trying to say, but I wasn't sure. You could have meant something else entirely.

But really, get that book, Gut Solutions. It's very easy to read, and it has a LOT of pictures in it of the various organs at a healthy and unhealthy stage. It's been very useful for me. Good luck!

I'm sorry to hear that rockstar. Irritable bowed syndrome is a terrible thing to have. Just make sure you eat lots of whole grain bread, nuts, legumes, seeds and vegetables. Cereals like All Bran and Oatmeal are a good source of fibre too. These foods will also lower your cholesterol levels because they are low in saturated fats. Seeing a nutritionist may be a good option too, because they can tell you exactly what you can and can't eat. I hope you get well soon :yes:

Acutually, grains can be trigger foods for IBS, your gonna have to make a plan, see what u eat and how it affects your tummy. i have found pasta and rich sauces dont like me. there are different types of ibs, there is a forum with ibs sufferers i am a member on, i'll pm you the link. it explains a lot about different ways to treat ur condition. i have found taking peppermint oil (in pill form) works. Also, taking probiotics is good too. peppermint oil will slow the workings in the gut (if u get tummy pains it will help this too). the doctor can prescrbe u with meds to help leviate ur symptoms too, maybe if u feel ur current doctor isnt helping u can ask for a second opinion? ive found some doctors are more helpful than others in dealing with this condition. good luck x x

How did I miss your thread... Sorry that you are dealing with this! It's tough..

IBS and cholesteral play off of each other in many ways. From what you gave us I can tell you need soluble fiber... I'm going to skip the technical mumbo jumbo and explaining why it's good.. If you want to learn that I can type it but most just want the FIX.. They don't care on how it fixes, 'Just FIX ME'.. lol!!!

Soluble fiber is found in:
* Oats
* Dried beans and Peas
* Nuts
* Barley
* Oranges and Apples
* Carrots
* Flax seed

This will help with both you cholestoral and IBS.

You can find things like cereal that will have several of the things from the list.. In the mean time I would also lower your carbs. The symptoms you have (IBS high Cholestoral) can lead into diabetes..

KEEP IN MIND.. That some of the above things like nuts are high in fat.. This can be bad for your stomach and what goes with it.. ;) So take in measurments, meaning.. eat a little, and see how that does.. etc..

Also of course excersize is very good for this aswell. 'working out' will help both cholestoral and IBS a great deal... In SO MANY WAYS.. If you are not ready to get into the gym, put on the Michael Jackson and dance around the house as much as possible.. do stuff you can do at home. U can try palates too.

sometimes in the morrning i'll get red peppers :yes: cause they have water in it :yes: and water i dirnk

I have IBS too, it isn't fun. I can't really offer any help, other than to say avoid foods that aggravate it. There isn't any 'cure', there's only ways to treat the symptoms.

Also, if you have heartburn (which is common with IBS), try asking your doctor about getting meds for it. Proton pump inhibitors are the best for helping stop heartburn associated with IBS. I'd recommend either Protonix, Nexium, or Prilosec (the one I use, and which seems to be the most effective.)

yesterday i was so tried i just what to sleep all day :yes: :yawn: today i'm good but my tummy is shaking know :yes:
i'm tryying not to eat at night just drinking water :yes:

i have dear god book that i write in it everynight and :yes: god does answer my question of help :yes; ;pray;

Okay Emilia....I will give you a list here for you to eat. You're IBS may be because you are under stress or have anxiety...or you have food intolerances. What you need to do is to get tested for food allergies. Have you done this yet? Do you know what foods irritate your stomach and which ones don't? You need to increase your fiber intake. That means having whole wheat bread instead of white bread, more fresh vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower, or having something like Good Friends for breakfast. Kellog's All-Bran is very good. You also need to get more exercise. That is good for both your heart and your emotional health.

Remember, there are trigger foods that cause IBS: Coffee (or tea), Chocolate, Fried or fatty foods, Dairy products (if you have a lactose intolerance), Alcohol, Carbonated beverages, Sorbitol and other artificial sweeteners..

You may want to keep a food diary and figure out what you eat, and how you feel after you eat it. You may be able to pinpoint what foods give you problems.

Good luck!! And remember, you need to relax. Take it easy. Your body is your temple. You need to start worshipping it!!

here my allergies:

*wheat
*chocolate
*dairy
*corn
*milk

:yes: i have that problem when i was little artificial sweeteners

also too cause i take two different kind of pills i can't have chocolate and tea, coffee,

:yes: o get emotional health cause the book never close the book is always open never close when my health get better the book will close i hope so :yes: :cry:

:yes: my body gets very tried alot if it's along day or my tummy is not well and my bowl is not well i take naps :cry: :yes:

:yes: i get stress alot so my body get stress alot with it is very hard to workout alot cause my bowl gives me hard times :yes:
but i got ipod from my sister, my brother inlaw so i go for walks but i have to be carefull about my ears i have alot of problems with my ears too my ears hurts me everyday i don't understand it my docotor say that thing is wrong with my ears i say to myself ooh :yes: it is my left ear is the bad ear so my right ear my lift ear also too i can't hear very well behind me i can't tell when someone is behind me :yes: is true
