i wouldn't mind all that either but has anyone let sony know what we want? Instead of them putting out what they want they need to listen to the fans.

GAZ - maybe you could print out this thread - or the posts with ideas at least and give it to SONY and TE! - They really need to listen to the fans more.

The whole "Michael" disaster proves how much angry MJ fans can destroy!

i hope they dont do that. i want songs we have never heard and definitely NOT a new version of any song. thatsnot even from michael. gosh :(

The latest reworked version of Cheater would be really nice. Unless MJ intended it for a new album. Then it should be released on a separate new album.

That's probably the same reason why less and less people are buying new music!!!!!


People want a proper product and not corporate trash!!!

I hope The Estate have seen the release of the boxes for Pink Floyd, Nirvana and U2.

Unreleased material is the way to go. I can think of 5 songs off the top of my head I'd like to see released on this:

1. Hot Street (even though it's a Thriller session track)
2. Do You Know Where Your Children Are
3. Mind Is The Magic
4. Al Capone
5. Come Together- long version (as it appears on the Moonwalker movie)

the long version of come together is also released. on the remember the time Maxi CD.
that means we only need Al capone of this list. everything else is leaked or released.

sometimes I wish us MJ fans had a little bit more say in what happens.. while I know some fans would want to hear everything at onced and would not be good sales tactic.. BUT we should be at least listened to for ideas to truely consider.. I mean we are the "demand" that will supply the revenue they would be releasing it for.. we are very willing to be hands on and basically give them such an easy sell..

I am attending another staff meeting on December 16th. I may be able to speak with the Epic Records rep(?) again. Do any of you have questions that you would like me to ask him? I know it's far off but it's probably the soonest we will get anymore BAD25 information.

I am already going to ask these:

What is the planned release period?
What unreleased tracks are being reworked?
If any, what producers are involved so far?

If they do release this then I just want the original music and if it's unreleased songs can't they just release it as Michael recorded them? I think I have learned the last 2 years that I just don't want anything touched. I am sure that there were many songs that almost made the album but didn't and just release them as they were. That's my concern.

Yeah for a project like bad, i'm pretty sure there will have been a good amount of finished songs that they can choose from, especially considering Michaels' original intentions for the album, i don't want them touching up a finished song, when it's looking back to 1987, it doesn't need a modern touch, if people wanted a modern sound they wouldn't buy an album from the 80s anyway, they can remix songs if they want (the album tracks) but for any unreleased material, i'd like that how Michael left it.

Could you ask him if the unreleased tracks will be released as Michael made them or if they will be remixed like on the "Michael" album? And does he know if the Bad tour will be released?

And maybe you could ask him to please come read this thread for suggestions from the fans.-_-

I could live without extras because concert is the main thing. But of course I have nothing against extras. :)

I don't think he has any say in the release of MJ material, he just works in the same division and knows what's going on with the projects.


I will try my best to get as much information as I can.

Guy. Remastered isnt always better. If you look up something called: The loudness war youll see that louder isnt better, and you lose sound information. if they remater it, dont make it louder. Louder = More distortion, and less dynamic range.

my Bad25 dream:
1. Blu Ray and Movie Theater release
2. Bad25 with 5 NEW untouched songs by mj. They can remove Mj chatter etc. Just dont add or take away anything
3. No remixes like T25.
4. Original Bad session demos.

If a song isn't released than it's not finished, by pure nature. As time goes on your always going to think of ways to improve on it, even if it's already been released. I'm sure that's how all artists are. Look at the Earthsong demo from the dangerous sessions. that sounded like a finished song, but Mj thought of a way to make it better prior to finally releasing it on History.

I kind of hope they make this dvd simillar to how they did the music video for Another Part of Me. Use the best shots and the best moments from several concerts and merge them together to look like one ultimate performance.
