There goes queen g showing off by saying in one sentence what I tried to articulate in 2 long paragraphs. :girl_sigh: LOL :lol:.....and yes, I think it does, it just is. I truly believe we all have a destiny, and that there are reasons for everything. When the time is right things happen. :)
 
I remember I thought I was experiencing "true love" once... But then when I thought about what love was, I was like "...I think I'm a bit off here!" I was more infatuated and obsessive, I think. Plus, the person I thought I loved didn't even return the feelings so I don't know what I was thinking :| LOL.

Very true^ in fact you feel more yourself with them than anywhere else. Like they are able to bring every part of who you are to the forefront when you are with them...and it's not only accepted, but loved fully.

I couldn't have said that better myself, In my own experience that's exactly how I feel/felt. I guess that comes with the saying when two hearts are joined you become one? They are you, you are them. You are one. :)

"Don't fall in love". Because you just get hurt. Better to guard your heart and lock it and throw the key away. Maybe some day, the right person finds the key anyways...if God's willing?

And that's just MY interpretation, why I personally like the locked heart picture. :lol: MJ most likely just randomly picked the shirt or he liked it because it has red stuff on it? :lol:

Ooooh! :) Well your interpretation is much nicer and more positive than mine and for MJ's sake I hope that is more correct than mine. I mean, I can't speak for MJ anyways...I was just saying how I personally see that picture. :lol:

Yes. Very much so. :boohoo:But as much as one wants it, it's something you can't force...it either happens or it doesn't. Either you are blessed enough to find it or you aren't...but you can't force it.
 
I've been thinking... can two people ever love one another exactly the same? I don't really think there is a perfect love. I mean, one is always going to love the other a bit more...

And what do you do when the only person you want to be with doesn't want you in return? To me, that's worse than not finding the right person at all.... believe me... I was a lot happier on my own, and feeling like I'd not found anyone. When you know that the person is right for you, because it feels right, how can you ever get over that?....

Didn't mean to bring the thread down. Just sharing my opinion and feelings. :)

Hell yes! I wonder lots of times where is the love of my life! People use to say there's always a pot for a pan, but I'm beginning to think my pot needs a GPS baddly!!! He must be lost somewhere, that's for sure. Now I only need to know where. Maybe he's foreign, and since Portugal is such a small place, he has trouble finding it! :scratch:

Anyway, is not that I'm standing with my arms crossed waiting for him. I'm living my life the best way I can, but as I'm extremely romantic and to me there's not such things as one night stands and occasional relationships just for the heck of it, my love life has been non-existent for about 4 years or such now. All the guys I come to meet are soooo empty in their heads, you know? Anyway, my other half, if you're reading this:

Hurry up already!!! I'm not getting any younger! :timer:

You didn't bring the thread down. I like hearing other peoples opinions.

I just wanted to comment on the highlighted part.....Does the other person actually know how you feel and not feel the same? If they don't know how you feel, why not tell them if it feels right to you? I think that the only thing holding us back sometimes from finding out if things in life are the truth is ourselves. For me personally I just can't see putting myself through feeling such a strong emotion like love when it's something that is not reciprocated. To me it's pointless. I think we cause ourselves more heartache and pain when we don't take chances, dwell on things, or always wonder, and I know I sound harsh sometimes when I can so easily say you have to let it go and move on, but it's the truth. Some people come into our life and will always and forever hold a special place in our heart, but why put yourself through certain things when another opportunity may be passing you by in life.

I believe if it IS right, like Poe said above and I agree with it, it isn't filled with fear or questioning it flows freely.

True love just is.....
 
True love is caring for another person is not forgetting of itself, this is love, love is not a complete gift, love is an exchange, do not love yourself, love is a life of two hands and give to the other without expect nothing in return. :)​
