Ticket Talk ONLY!!

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

Is anyone here planning on going to the actual venue at the time they go onsale to buy them in person? Does anyone know if it's possible or how it would work?

You can only go to the O2 box office on the day of the general sale. Worth checking to see if it will open at 7am or 9am.

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

Also how do you wherd abouts in the tier you are buying the seat, because the options in the drop down menu are very vague :-z

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

When we order tickets online off ticketmaster or whatever, do you print it off or will they be posted to me?

Tickets will be sent by post - if you leave abroad it might be worth seeing if you can do will call to avoid tickets being lost as sometimes tickets are not sent out until 7 days prior to the event.

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

Yeah I figured with it being 7am it might be different. I'll try and find out from the o2 and post here what they say!

If you want to sit on the floor ie: blocks A1, A2, A3 of the O2 then select FLOOR SEATING

If you want to sit on the side terraces first section then select LEVEL 1

If you want to sit up high (and it is very high!) then select LEVEL 4

You can select BEST AVAILABLE and this can work, but I always go with FLOOR SEATING.

Good idea to get to know the block locations, rows and seat numbers - check here:

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

Seats on the floor run from Seat 1 in A1 to Seat 49 in A3 (sometimes can go higher depending on stage configuration

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

i have registered me and i have a good chance to get 4 tickets :) uuwee im going to LONDOOON :D:D

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

good luck with ticketmaster they are shit, even with pre sales you cant guarantee good seats, then you end up comeing out and missing your chance to get tix.

this is where michael needs a fan club, this is bloody terrible

madonna has her own site where only fans get pre sales, i feel mike has been stiched up big time by AEG especially the fans

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

Thanks vickster, also can smalerl people still see the stage though with a standing ticket? Is the stage high enough for everyone standing in front to get a view of MJ? Or if your small and at the back do you have no chance?

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

all depending whether he has end stage or centre stage. If end stage i assume there will be a catwalk. The best seats are A1 A3 AND B SECTIONS

The stage is not that high - depends if they sell standing on the floor or seats (would imagine seats). I would suggest first 10 rows you're OK - anything after that if you're short, then I would suggest going for the side terraces

What does BEST AVAILABLE usually come up with?

Best Available can offer FLOOR SEATING options but I have found on previous occasions it's best to select the area you specifically want to sit in. I only use Best Available nearer to the date as production seats can be released.

Warning - avoid any restricted view seats in the O2 - for Madonna, Live Nation have sold seats behind the stage - yes you read that correctly! Tina Turner concerts have also been sold with restricted side view.

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

yeah but by looking at the seating plan would you be that stupid to book a restricted seat

I know - it always amazes me when you go to a show at the O2 and see all the people sat in the restricted view!

And yes, you'll get to choose where to sit in the presale.

just push yourself through the crowd :D

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

so is ticketmaster the best bet of getting tickets or the 02 website?.does ticketmaster just pick out the seats for you?

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

i wish michael had an official fan club, History tix were so much easier just got a letter from mjni saying tix will go on sale date and they were given to fans.

This is pissing me off big time, i'd hate it if some arsehole got a tix and wasn't even a fan and started calling him names

this is not good

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

ticketmaster is shite beleive me, they will give you any old seats

Thanks vickster for the tips. :flowers: Can you please clarify that sentence for people living abroad? It's a little confusing the way I'm reading it. And is there no other way to get the tickets faster than 7 days prior to the event and/or have them delivered securely...or at least in a way where I can track the delivery in case they get lost in the mail? Thanks again.

If you live abroad and there is the option for will call this means you can collect the tickets from the box office on the day of the show (sometimes the day before).

It has been known for tickets to be sent out up to 7 days before the event. For instance, MJ's first show is on Wed 8th July which means tickets could be sent out on Thurs 2nd July. If you live abroad, 7 days does not give enough time for the tickets to arrive with you, especially if you are travelling.

Hope this has explained it further for you xx

O2 website will take you through to Ticketmaster.

I have to disagree about Ticketmaster, I've never had a problem in getting tickets through them. If you don't get the exact tickets you want, don't worry, there are always production and VIP seats released nearer the time, especially once the stage layout has been confirmed.

I have managed to get front row tickets for a number of shows via Ticketmaster, sometimes a few days before the date of the show.

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

:/ im checking my email every few minutes to see if i have a presale code yet.
As soon as anyone gets one they have to let us know so we can check if we do!
with all the media attention this is getting and because of the cheaper than expected ticket prices i can see a load of people who aren't even that big fans just going for the sake of it and some of us missing out. This is so stressful im not gonna get any sleep untill i have tickets in my hand!

I think I understand now. Aww that sucks that they won't send them out earlier. :( Guess Imma have to pick them up the day before. The day of the concert will be chaos, I'm sure and I'm not trying to get caught up in THAT madness.

Thanks for the explanation. Much appreciated! :flowers:

You can pay with Visa and Mastercard with Ticketmaster

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

Can't you just do like most events and print your ticket out from home and take with you? The paper prints with a barcode and they just scan the barcode at the arena upon entry.

Re: Ticket Talk ONLY!

thank you vickster!
Now i can sleep again, haha.

anndddd uhhhh

when will the tickets be sent?
i live in holland and the post will take 4 to 5 days to come here.
it will be stupid that i leave to england a day before the concert is and i still donlt have my tickets...that would be terrible...

I don't think you can do that with ticketmaster (but it has been a while since I got a ticket from them). My experience with them is that you either can have it delivered to your home or pick it up from the venue itself.

I'm really worried that I won't be able to get a ticket because both me and another member of my family are disabled and I'm really not sure how its works at the O2 for wheelchair parties.
