It's usually impossible to get through via phone. Last year when the Madonna tickets went on sale, Ticketmaster just put an automated message on saying something like 'Please visit Ticketmaster.co.uk' - not even a phone queue or a 'please try again later'. Same thing happened with Britney. When it comes to sales like these, they want you to book online.

They definitely won't enable Ticketfast for this event.

Seems risky to me, im sure the people who check the tickets will know that they are official.

But I dont want to go 5 hours to London for my only chance ever to see my idol live, only to be told they think my tickets are fake. Its probably fine but I dont want to even take the slightest chance.

there's a unique barcode on every ticket which makes faking them impossible. they scan your home-printed ticket and if the barcode checks out you're in.

however it's not sure at all if they will offer ticketfast on this one.

I PRINTED MY TICKET OFF FOR STEVIE WONDER, AND IT'S FINE. THEY JUST SCAN THE BARCODE. I THINK IT WAS STEVIE. MAY HAVE BEEN SPICE GIRLS LOL.

Sorry for caps, I'm insane right now. :(

All tickets have unique barcodes printed on them. Same with Ticektfast tickets. However, for a megastar concert such as a Michael Jackson show, Ticketmaster can't afford for anything to go wrong with the tickets so they won't use Ticketfast - all tickets will be printed and posted, probably two weeks prior to the first concert date.

i think in this case the demand will be so high it will be best just to take the tickets that we can get ... they will be like gold dust !

yeah i guess... i think they will close it today, at least thats what i heard somewhere. and i think they have to close it early to sort out who is getting codes and who not or?

I wish there weren't a pre-sale and all tickets went on sale on Friday. This three-day sales mission is nothing but ridiculous hype and serves no purpose apart from favouring some people over others.

I miss the old days when you got in line in at the box office. At least you knew that if you got there early enough, you'd be sure to get a ticket.

I dont think there will be any need for one, as the ticket pre sale will end when the ammount of tickets reserved for the pre sale has sold out.

well it will close because they need to set a specific end for the registration to make this lottery who will get passcodes or not

I wish they'd do away with the whole presale thing too! It's unfair and just disappointing for anyone who doesn't get to take part.

What site should I be looking at getting on and praying that I can get through?

I know there's ticketmaster but what about the 02 Priority stuff?

I think we will be lucky to get tickets from pre-sale. The whole system is up for abuse. Touts have automated bots which will just complete the registration form, many many times, literally using thousands of email addresses, which (probabilistically) means they can expect many codes. They have only recently put a captcha system on there to help prevent this, but i suspect the number of genuine fans like us who get tickets through this will be small.

I know this has been asked before, and we probably don't know for sure, but are people outside the UK eligible for presale? I know only UK fans can text, but I'm talking about the email. What do you guys think?

Yeah i Hope ticketmaster and AEG have prepared for these situations. It scares the heck outa me.

lol let's make a massive rumour that the tickets are going on presale at 8AM Wednesday and get it 'leaked' into the press. then we'll have more of a chance :D

That's a much nicer time for u Aussies, 7am is so early!! Then again i guess there'll be people working at 5...

That's hardcore, planning to come to london to see Mike from the other side of the world! I take my trilby off to u! :)
