thinking about a michael jackson tattoo

whatever place is less painful..... seriously i was thinking about my ankle or something like that. The outer or the inner ankle.

And thanks for your suggestions i will work on the new look tomorrow. I gotta do the dishes now lol.
 
Yeah the ankle is a good place. Mine is on my right ankle and it didnt hurt so much as opposed to some other places I think would hurt lol. Ok, let me know what you come up with :)

I'm so glad you said that lol - I've been a bit stressed because people say that the ankle is one of the most painful spots to have it done! I already have one on my lower back and that was painful but bearable, I'm hoping the same goes for my next one...fingers crossed...
 
I really want one. But im scared of the pain! Im such a pussy.
If i were to get one, i'd get either a sequined glove, him on his toes with the socks and loafers or a fedora hat. A small one as well.
 
my most painful one was the one i got to memorialize him. it was on my inner right leg but part of it went onto my shin so it was painful.

i'd suggest either shoulder (back) or lower ankle for those who've never had a tat or are scared of the pain.
 
I would very much like his HIStory symbol on my ankle. I'm scared too though :( Maybe I will plan it all out, make an appointment, and then go there drunk to ease the pain :lol:

Wow, it's amazing reading all about your tattoos and tattoo ideas!

I have 3 tattoo's - 2 of them are flower designs which I had done when I was 19 (I am now 32!) and one little dolphin!

One flower and the dolphin are on my upper arms (outside) and the other flower is just above my tummy button - but it now has stretch marks running through it courtesy of my 2 pregnancies with my son & daughter lol!!

Anyway....... I was planning on having an MJ tattoo done for christmas before our concert on 3rd February.... but sadly things have changed in such an awful way, and I still want my MJ tattoo done, but I'm not too sure on the design.

I am thinking possibly the MJ logo, but I want it made pretty & magical looking! I'm thinking of having it surrounded by a lot of little stars, and also 2 small butterflies one pink & one blue to represent my children.

Or...

Possibly the 'moonwalk feet' surrounded by a lot of little shooting stars & flowers & musical notes etc... I haven't seen a good tattoo of the 'feet' so if any of you know of a decent one, or have a photo, maybe you would be kind enough to post it for me.

I want something that is feminine, and positve. I want it to remind me of the man and the music and the dance..... I don't want it to remind me of his death at all.

I am a singer in my spare time, and I work as a volunteer in amatuer theatre, so I'm thinking that the little musical notes would be cool :)

Ideas would be appreciated xx

p.s Sugarbunny - I am so sorry you had such a bad experience. How DARE they treat you like that. I am in Kent.... so not really that far from you. I hope I get a better reception when I go to get mine done xx xx

everyone has their opinion of MJ we fans know the truth. The people who make awful comments on MJ have their heads shoved up the tabloids ass and have a shitty view on things. Don't let them get to you.


I'm still working on my tattoo..... down sizing lol.

No problem. I actually called Tom Renshaw and he called back yesterday and said he's booked until January and it's good to book it really early. Whenever I can actually gather my thoughts and look through pics of MJ and listen to his songs again, I'll start designing mine. I have some ideas already, but I haven't even been in the mood to sketch them out. And like I said I can't even get one for about 9 months because of medication, but I assure you it will be a work of art, not just a tattoo, so I'll def be posting it all over once I get it.
 
I'm going to get "Heal The World" tattooed somewhere. I'd do it today, but the problem is that it's conflicting with the two tats I already have in terms of location and style. I want to add it to my lower back piece, but it doesn't match with it very well. So I'm still thinking. I'm glad I didn't rush into it, though. I would have covered my entire ribcage a few weeks ago.

If i had done it last month there would be little space left...

I also have 2 tattoos already (on both my upperarms), i'm still thinking about the right spot but i think it will be my shoulderblade...
I have just finished drawing the design so my tattoo-artist can start working on it.

I called about mine today and was told they charge by the size. I may be going in tomorrow afternoon to see what they can do for me. I have redone my design like a hundred times but i finally came up with one i like. i mean REALLY like.



im nervous as hell...:bugeyed
 
When my girlfriend got her tattoos done they charged by the size/ time. Is that picture the actual size you'll be getting?

I would love to get one. But I really need to think about it a while. If I'll take one, it will be something really private. And somewhere privare. I'm thinking about under the hip bone. Like on the lower belly, on the left side. Just so you can't see it if I'm wearing something, even a bikini bottom and you still can't see it. Atleast not completely. A little quote from one of his lyrics is something I've been thinking of. Also his silhouette would be something that I really would like. Or simply just his name.

Just curious. If anyone has a tattoo in that area, what about if you get pregnant? Will the tattoo be ruined because, of course, the skin will stretch?

I already have a tattoo, not about Michael though. I took it when I turned 17 and it didn't hurt, just felt a bit nasty. So I'm not scared about the pain or anything. Just need to think things clear before I do anything.

lol no its not and i dont think i will be getting it now because i tried to talk it over with my father and he well.... he didnt like the idea to much. The actual size is a bit bigger then this but whats the point now.?

lol Um I dont know i havent made it in to talk to them. I called to talk to her today and just about colors and pain but as it looks i wont be getting it anyway. im going to TRY and talk my mom into taking me in tomorrow afternoon... My car is on the fritz so i cant drive it. But we shall see.
The woman did say she charged by the size so i made it as small as i could with out screwing it up.
 
I want to get one but I've got to get money first which is why I'm glad to now have a job again :)
I was thinking about getting roses with "Smooth Criminal" or something written under them or the HIStory logo or something. I think I'll probably go talk to the artist and see what he can do sometime before I go back to classes in september
