I'm surprised this has not yet been posted. Today there was about 18 jurors for selection, the judge wants to swear them in today. Today though, day 11 has been halted.... Take a look and I will try to post more ...

The trial starts Tues.




When 2 year old Caylee Anthony vanished, in 2008 her sick twisted 23 year old mother did not report Caylee missing for 31 days. Instead, she was out partying and there are pictures that will be used in the trial. Caylee's skeletal remains were found by a water meter guy in the woods, near the grandparents' home in Dec. 2008. Caylee went missing June 2008. Casey's mother, Cindy called 911 to report her missing granddaughter & even stated there was a particular smell in the backseat of the car. Cindy is a registered nurse. She made comments like "Smells like a dead body in the damn car." Cindy would know what a dead body smells like...
When 2 year old Caylee's body was found, there was a heart shaped sticker placed on the lips. Caylee's remains had traces of Chloroform in it.
Mother Casey lied to police so many times.

I recommend people please do your research for this case!!! Its very interesting. It has 1.lies 2. murder 3. partying while daughters missing

Yeah, I've heard about this case on & off for about 2 years now. I hope Casey gets justice - the whole thing is just so sad :(
 
Am I wrong to be annoyed at all the television coverage this case has gotten as compared to Michael's? I hardly saw any coverage about the jury selection process and pre-trial stuff for Michael's case. But there's always something about the Casey Anthony case.

Anyway, I feel terrible for that beautiful little girl. No child should have to die that young.

The media.. disgusting as aways. ..

As for this horrible case... I'll refrain from judgements - am this disgusted and horrified. May that angel be blessed in the skies like she couldn't be on this earth. ..
 
Well yes that's true. I was assuming when the trial starts it will be the biggest.
 
I have been watching jury selection for this case all week...Casey has told many many lies about what happened to her daughter...she told many lies to her parents about her own were abouts BEFORE Caleey even passed away...imo..If Casey didn't do it..which I believe she did..then she knows WHO did....this is a very big case her in the US..and I really hope she get what she deserves...the jury can give her the death penalty for the charge or life in prison...I myself could not be on that jury ..I am not God so I could never vote for her to get the death penalty. There are so many lies that Casey has told on many different levels...from where she worked to were she lived..to WHO was the babysitter....to who the babies father was. Way to many lies.
 
Yes, I've heard about this case; it was on Larry King Live a couple years ago.

kind of a stupid question - why do you all say the media is so disgusting!?!?! The media is not the one that is making Casey Anthony look bad!! Casey Anthony is makin Casey Anthony look bad. The media is just doing its job and it may only be telling some of the story but it is telling the truth. I certainly hope she gets a fair trial but don't be blaming the media for Casey Anthony's fault.

If you only know part of the story I don't feel you can get to the truth.

It is also very hard to understand why Casey waited 31 days to report her missing, so people are naturally quite angry.
 
Don't agree with the thread title. I only hear Nancy Grace talking about this case. I guess it depends on where you live. Imo I will wait for what happens in court before I assume facts about the case.
 
Haven't had time to watch much of this live feed yet, but shudder to think that this could in some way be a taste of what we will be facing in September...live feed, viewer comments, outrageous stories, speculations....:(
 
I don't understand the attention this trial is getting. People murder their kids just about every single day and nobody cares. Is it because this is a cute white woman who killed a little white girl? It's like that Natalee Holloway case.
 
Yes people have [murdered] kids often,but they are more commonly convicted or have confessed. I think it has nothing to do with this persons race or what she looks like,but more so I think it is because of how this female Casey Anthony baffles the world with her demeanor & bold lies considering what has happened to the toddler Caylee Anthony.

I guess perhaps because the lies and lies and the deception from this woman is so unreal.. No one at least in the news ..has lied so much tovfriends, family and even police officers. Plus Caylee was the cutest thing ever it is hard to think a young mom would harm such a thing.
 
My mom and I have been following this case. What a mess. She and her defense team screwed up. They completely changed the story from the "nanny" to the drowning. Now she just looks like a liar. I still don't know what to make of this. I don't know Casey Anthony's deal but I pray to God that this innocent little girl gets the justice she deserves. This is such an incredibly sad case.


I mean, the "nanny" didn't even exist. She picked a random woman's name from a completely different state who has no connection with her. The truth needs to come out, now. This woman is a coward and a liar.
 
Yes Dr. G totally blew the whole drowning case out of the water! She said that from the scientific evidence, there is absolutely no reason for there to be tape around the mouth if it was an accident. She also said this was homicide without a cause. Casey will not get the death penalty we know. DP is usually reserved for someone who has murdered more than one person anyway but she won't get DP because the jury will be thinking of George & Cindy.
 
I too have been watching this case..almost daily...Casey Anthony is a guilty woman...she is a psychopath. She is a chronic liar..she knows what she did to her child...and I believe it was out of jealousy. She shows NO remorse..and she is one hell of an actress..half the time when she appears to be crying....there are NO tears....the woman is pathetic...and I don't for one minute think that she was sexually molested....her actions since Caleeys death do NOT reflect her accusations. She is looking for someone else to blame other than herself and I hope that she gets what is due to her and that beautiful child gets justice.
 
So she killed her daughter ? If it's sure, and when there are evidence, don't need to lost your time and money of the tax payers, with a trial, send her in jail for life straight.

from what ive read of this case it hardly seems like a box standard murder case.hence the amount of publicity its garnered
 
One reason why its so fascinating.... you can't make this shit up. All these lies shes told first off, its amazing one person can remember all these lies.

I agree. It's like she's stiff in that courtroom. No remorse, no emotion. She also looks a bit intimidated and "sweaty" because she knows she lying. To me, it seems like she didn't want the burden of a child to interfere with her life. She wanted to have "fun." She needs to grow up and take some responsibility.

In a strange way, this reminds me of the Natalee Holloway case. Both are totally unrelated and very dissimilar, however, the suspects are both liars, changing their stories, and the truth may never reach the light of day no matter what you say or do to them.
