If this MJ production is deemed a success,
I believe there will be a sequel: MJ2.
I believe there is definitely enough music remaining for a sequel. ?

I don't know why. but i got a bad feelings about this musical. i just hope that it will be good. that's all we can hope for. i didn't buy no tickets because it's too far away from me. but for anyone who has good luck.

Fans need to realize that if this musical fails, the media will react with glee. Fans also need to realize that if it fails, the media will say that Michael fails. I intend on purchasing tickets and supporting it any way that I can. I hope it succeeds in a big way.
 
I bought my tickets for August 29th

Not only will it be MJ's birthday, but the preview-related flaws show will be ironed by then.

The Estate musical is not MJ. Michael's musical and dance legacy will last forever, whatever happens with 'MJ the musical'. We have seen that is true following LN. The future of MJ's legacy is not dependent on the musical.

The success of MJ the musical in many fans' eyes rests on it being true to Michael, and therefore NOT suggesting that MJ was (or might have been) guilty of 'any impropriety with children'. Many fans are awaiting reviews which will hopefully confirm this to be the case. This is not the 'fault' of those fans, but of the creators of 'MJ the Musical' who initially suggested that Michael was 'complicated' in undesirable ways.

It's great that you are supporting the musical, and I hope that it will be everything we all want it to be - truthful about Michael and successful.

Cannot purchase tickets to this knowing both what that Lynn woman said, and the way the Estate's representative spoke to fans who were concerned about said comments.

Good luck to them, but it's not for me anymore.
 
I think once the previews and show starts we can finally say what they going for. as of right now we can't say anything about this musical but pray. now if the musical does turn out good I think this will make people go. I mean that would be something I would do and i'm guessing that what other fans doing to. though. if doesn't get good sales on the first opening night. that can really kind of ruin their sales.

true this musical isn't about Michael legacy but they doing a tribute of it. so yeah we need to be concern. we really don't need anything else to damage Michael anymore.
 
I've already purchased tickets for one of the August dates, front row on the Mezzanine so I can see the entire production. I figure by this time all the kinks will be worked out and it will be a well oiled machine. Im very excited! A nice mini vaca to NYC for a couple days.

6th Feb 2020, the day Snoop D lambasted Gayle and Oprah, Safecheck's Instagram got (temporarily) deleted and Lynn N got stuck in the Lincoln Centre bathroom.....and had to be rescued via Twitter. (Can I hear MJ laughing? I think I can! :cool: )

Been cracking up today because my Twitter feed is basically a curated list of people retweeting Lynn Nottage.

Whew. The entire NYC theater scene was ready to descend on Lincoln Center and take it apart by force if that&#8217;s what was needed to rescue Lynn Nottage. And I&#8217;m here for it.

If there was any justice in the world, NYMF would still be happening and there would be at least two musicals this year about Lynn Nottage getting trapped in a bathroom at Lincoln Center.

Oh I've seen this one. She finally gets out and chimps have taken over everything.

Write sos on some toilet paper and flush. Repeat.
