Take a look at videocopilot.net for some cool tutorials on using after effects, you should get a really good idea on animated titles.

Sasha, its the same rar files that I made a week ago that Im uploading to rapidshare so I think it would be okay as they are the exact same parts and will have the same number 10 more to come, rapidshare is back up so expect the final parts by later tonight. :)

When you put the avi file up , i'll download it and put it up as a torrent. :D

a bit more reliable than rapidshare at times.

probably quicker as well.

its so much better on the big screen, i watched it on the TV with my mum and dad, the computer doesnt give the right effect :)

I watched it and liked it a lot, especially the time line until present. The timing of this documentary is very good, makes our blood start to boil eagerly waiting to see MJ’s new album.

Any copyright issues from content taken from Number Ones DVD?

well there could be with every piece of footage used as I dont own it, however there is a disclaimer at the end that says all copyrights are retained by their owners. ITV did the exact same with the A&E doc and turned it into the one and only.

In my eyes ive edited together and redubbed all the footage so its a remix of sorts. :)

None different from any of my other videos, Sony are getting most of the advertising off the documentary videos on youtube so I suppose they are happy, honestly I set the vids to private at first and within 2 secs, matched by 3rd party content! LOL

The audio never came from the same source as the dvd as you can tell a lot was left out from the television special to the dvd, classic Slash interviews, The Way you make me feel!

That was a great watch, nice job on it! I liked hearing things from Katherine, I don't think I've ever seen anything with her speaking about the kids.

Dominic - thank you, and all those that worked on the Documentary, it was wonderful. I have been watching each segment over the last 2 weeks on the BIG motherfletcher LCD we have in the main lounge via our AppleTV, and I loved it. It made me smile, laugh, cry, sing, thank you.

Did you ever consider crediting some of the sources(doco's, tv shows etc) in the finale credits, or was the time constraint always there?

I loved the Katherine parts too, and the concert footage spliced in was awesome. How much did you have to exclude due to time? What didn't make the cut?

Are we gonna get some more of your short little masterpieces in the future too?

Firstly thank you very much!

I did Qperth, however due to me losing all my footage, i wasnt able to extend the ending which I had already made as a draft so what I did was put a copyright logo at the end crediting the channels that made the documentaries, however when I reissue it with some updates perhaps in the future, I will add that, I also wanted to mention all the music used too because some just played in the background, but yea it was something I wanted to do but my external hard drive corrupted and I lost everything apart from my 4th draft in the quality it is, I tried to redub things and everything but it wasnt exactly how I wanted it so no doubt there will be another version bigger and better! hehehe


I left out the Victory Tour because Michael was never fond of that and We Are the World, due to time constraints, also MJ and Friends because I felt it wasnt a lasting memory on his legacy however if I add anything to it, it will be a segment on We are the World and Captain EO just before the Bad segment. :)


I'll still do my little short films when I have the chance however I have started a film making course which is SO AMAZING! and our first project is to make a 2 minute piece on an aspect of our lives set to music....hmmmmm I wonder what mine will be LOL!

Honestly Michael popped right into my head right away, he is always inspiring me.

Awesome, thanks Dominic. I can't imagine the feeling you would have had when your hard drive corrupted, after all your hard work!
Captain EO mention would be awesome, and also We ARe the World, to show some more of his humanitarian side. Must be tough to decide what to cut.

I have a mate who was accepted into the American Film Institute, and is now studying in LA. He's so happy to be following and learning his dream in this craft, so I wish you well also! Thanks again!

I meant to post and let you know I enjoyed watching this documentary. It was very well made. So professional looking. This one was better than most of the ones that has aired recently. Good job!
