Second show added for Cirque's Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL Tour in Miami


If you didn't score tickets for the upcoming Cirque du Soleil show Michael Jackson - THE IMMORTAL Tour, now's your chance! Due to popular demand, a second show has been added at the American Airlines Arena in Miami. The new performance is Saturday, March 3, 2012, in addition to the previously announced performance on Friday, March 2, 2012.

Starting Monday, August 8, 2011, tickets will be available at Ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000. Tickets range from $50 to $250 each. (And don't forget to add parking into the mix, it will range from $10.00 and up, depending how far you're willing to walk to the arena.)

If you've never seen a Cirque du Soleil show, this would be a phenomenal foray into the mesmerizing Cirque fantasy world. I'm a huge fan myself, and have seen all the shows in Vegas and nearly all of the touring shows each year, and in true Cirque fashion (and based on the incredible Love show based on Beatles music), this is sure to be an extravaganza, pulling out all the stops to pay tribute to the King of Pop.


I'd personally recommend splurging for seats near the stage--it's a huge arena and although I'm sure the special effects will be larger than life, these types of shows are still better enjoyed from a bit closer up. If you're hesitating at all on whether it's worth the money--I'm certain it will be--and it's the closest we can get to MJ himself.

So this is the first video of Cirque I don`t appriciate. In my opinion it has nothing to do with Michael. The music it terrible and the moves are not Michael-like.

Yes it was just showcasing the dancers. They werent doing coreogrophy from the show per say
it was just a chance to meet them .. :)

Beautiful. This is the kind of people we want on the tour...not the likes of Michael Bush & Tompkins ...or even worst Karen Faye.

Happy 2 know...MJ is still inspiring them.

I know the show will be magical... I already regret not buying tickets for the second show, and now it's sold out ***boooo***

Now that Lopez is cancelled, I wonder if Michael Bearden might be invited to join the tour.

wasnt to bothered about this when it was first anounced. not cause i didnt care just the pain of everything .but its grown on me alot. im really looking foward to see what they have done come opening night

Hope to see some actual rehearsals or band rehearsing.

The videos hasn't been very informative thus far IMO.

None of the videos have promoted the show vety much. - It's not like after watching those videos you think - WOW - I really gotta see that show!!

Maybe it will come in later videos.

I think they mostly just want to keep everything secret until the opening. I really want to see sneak peaks of the show but I guess surprise is good- it's not often that we get complete surprises nowadays!

Hopefully they give us a bit more in the videos later on though. Even if it's just a very little taster.

very true. michael was a serious vocalist. now, i'm anxious to see how they mix his music. all of a sudden, a cirque du soleil sountrack sounds great. i want to see how they stripe away the music and showcase his voice. :wild:
