Who cares?
Comics beat films hands down, for me. You've got text, pictures, energy, action, fabulous storytelling, colour, you get a brain workout if the panels are arranged in a non-traditional way. I'm biased bc film was never a big love for me but give me a good comic any day over a film.im enraptured by the red 'guy' haha
im enraptured !
the comic is so much more feel than any film of it , [ i realise i have seen the film of him in 2007 ]
no that's not it . this isBut it has Nicholas Cage!!
Yep. Earth. Where I don't care about Mr Cage.
Even with the brilliant Conan movies?Comics beat films hands down, for me. You said this when I posted Man Thing.CLAWS ARE LAW.
Think it fits Mr Red, as well, lol.im enraptured by the red 'guy' haha

what,...so ..higgledy-piggledy squarey layout or ?if the panels are arranged in a non-traditional way.
and the best thing. you can hold it !I'm biased bc film was never a big love for me but give me a good comic any day over a film.
See, if you make your points using this lot:
Well, George can take a running jump, then.
whats Man Thing zinYou said this when I posted Man Thing.
oooh that one ! i know THAT one !Think it fits Mr Red, as well, lol.
“This lot”?See, if you make your points using this lot:
1 - I don't care
2 - they bore me, never really watched them properly so I'm never gonna fully get the point you're making
3 - I don't care
4 - if you don't think comics are culture that's fine but, to me, that's an example of impoverished thinking.
It's actually really hard to explain in the abstract. Traditional comics from the 60's and 70's would have the panels laid out very sort of geometrically and you didn't even have to think about how to read them. They followed the Western 'left to right, top to bottom' arrangement. But in the 80's lots of comics, not just the indie ones, the mainstream ones as well, started to get a lot more creative in how they placed the panels on the page and sometimes the order in which you had to read the panels was counter-intuitive. I think we all had a little learning curve period and then we all got used to it but it never, ever felt automatic like the trad layouts.what,...so ..higgledy-piggledy squarey layout or ?
There is nothing like the relationship you can have with a comic. Books are awesome, of course. But comics are a whole other thing. Print comics, I mean.and the best thing. you can hold it !
Excuse me? Brilliant? Conan films? Conan films?Even with the brilliant Conan movies?
I posted him a few pages back. Don't get him mixed up with Swamp Thing.whats Man Thing zin

You know you're obsessed with MJ when...
Just found this on the internet....it's hilarious! :hysterical: I can relate to many of them. This isn't even the full list, check out the Facebook-page! I'm sure it is if you like film and you happen to like that type of film. I don't. I've seen many clips of it and I've never felt inspired to watch it properly.Uhm Conan The Barbarian 1982 is a legendary brilliant film. The score even more so. I'm having goosebumps already.
Well online is pointless for that, Reading a kindle yeah it is just not the same. Even with a backlight and all the mod cons - stuff added .. extras its just not ever will be - it.It's actually really hard to explain in the abstract. It's really hard to explain. I have no idea what is happening now bc I don't read comics and I don't know how they handle the layouts with online comics. I can't help thinking that would make it very difficult to do an imaginative layout bc of all the scrolling up and down. But I could be wrong. It's no longer my world.
No, i can imagine babe. Got a few Back to the Future ones,There is nothing like the relationship you can have with a comic.
Book/ novel over a film. I have alot of movie tie in books. i was so obsessed with BTTF1 novel. How in depth it showed Marty's character and mindset it started my love for writing and character building.Books are awesome, of course.
Yeah indefinitelyBut comics are a whole other thing.
Oh nothing ever ever beats tangible, on anything - Nothing babePrint comics, I mean.
Have we had Swamp Thing? i like this but over this and red claw- red claw winsI posted him a few pages back. Don't get him mixed up with Swamp Thing.
