That's very true. I wasn't interested in the artist's personality at all and just listened. The music was enough. Always, except for one exception... And that's the reason I'm here))))

Even though FNM get on my nerves good and proper I will also ALWAYS love them to bits and Mike Patton in particular. That word right there ... how many rock peeps put the word 'equilibrium' in their song? I ask you! I was smitten right at that very moment. Done deal, lol.

Don't go to FNM for hope or anything uplifting. Whether they are Mike Patton lyrics or Chuck Mosely lyrics, just don't. FNM don't do hope or uplifting or any of that. It's hilarious bc I remember reading an interview that Mike Patton did and he was saying how Chuck's lyrics were more depressing than his own. Well, Chuck's lyrics certainly are very depressing and emotional and bleak but, my god, Mike Patton's are worse, imo. Not worse in quality, I mean worse in the bleakness of them. It did make me laugh, though.

Art Spiegel published Maus in the 1980's with mice as the main characters. I just looked up Felix The Cat and he was created in 1919.
