The Last Person to Post in This Thread Wins

Oh god. I love that indefinitely @Agonum two fiery carries and a blue moon in the house- what ya gonna do ?!!!!
Actually, I love this. Carrie / Sissy Spacek (doing this bc I believe there was a remake. I don't hold with remakes, lol).

Start again! Carrie / Sissy Spacek x 2 plus a blue moon. Awesome! Can you imagine the energy, the magic, the force?

A blue moon with the power of 7!

Wow! 😲

Just ...my Voldemort trauma makes ...it ... so hard to forget ...these mighty, nightly , visions - Oh save me! @zinniabooklover

I MUST DEMOLISH 🤬 The BUGGER!
OK, I'm going to read you a nice Enid Blyton story now. Or we could watch an episode of Tales of the Riverbank. How about that?

It means you made a mess of something. I'm not sure why a poor old pig is being used in this way, lol. The weirdness of language idioms! Pigs are beautiful. But for some reason, in English, when we've done something in a crappy, sloppy, messed up way we say we've made a pig's ear out of it. Can't tell you the back story since I'm not that interested but that's how it's used. You would only use it in casual language, of course. You wouldn't use it in a feedback sesh with your boss at work, lol.
I love idioms! Pigs are very cool and amazing animals, but the German language isn´t nice to them either lol
BUT , we do have a kind of popular cake called Schweineöhrchen = little pig´s ear :)

Here we go. Let's all have a nice quiet time with Hammy the Hamster.

Didn´t @wendijane refer to our "cover boy" Michael?
Isn´t Voldedingsbums from Harry Potter (I just got to the 3rd book of the Harry Potter series )
You see ? You see that girls ? He is trying to change our reality and consciousness ...with his , his ......never-ending rage! THE BOI MUST BE DESTROYED!
I'm the same. Sometimes I pop in to catch a bit of this thread but don't join in. When wendi and the boys are riffing I can't keep up. It's crazy fast. It goes from 0 - 300mph in a microsecond, lol. And if I do join in, I have to take time out.
It is that beastly beasts fault !| see what he and his @Fuzball has done !
wendi's mind works way faster than mine does. :ROFLMAO:
I beg to differ zin i bet my house on that one LOL
You see? This is what I mean? Don't know the answer to this, can't remember, cannot face trawling back through the thread to track this down, lol.
It's a big journey- We are halfway there - I pity the fool who back tracks ! (cor blimey gives me palpitations just even thinking about it hahaha
Yep. Voldemort. Harry Potter.
These words must never be spoken of!

German is awesome! I can't speak the language, unfortunately, but the little I know of it (plus how it sounds) - I just love it.

I think I only got up to No.21 or 22 with the Walking Dead. Never watched the tv programme, of course. But the comic was good but then I just ... stopped. I do that sometimes.

We are magical , mythical beautiful maidens and we are powered by a blue moon And we have the power of 7 to beautifully destroy the evil that dare cross us - Voldemort and his ball of fuzz !

Our inspiration @bluemoon7 is from a cult classic film called Carrie , Sissy is the actress who play the character carrie , Carrie has telepathic powers which she uses to defeat and outwit - evil bullys , also , Voldemort and his ball of fuzz haha We take on her appearance and win this thread so easily like a knife sliding through butter! ha We blow up stuff alot. our intentions are good.

Stephen King is an American writer who writes horror stories. Also, see the 1996 interview that Michael did with Molly Meldrum.

He wrote a book called 'Carrie' about a teenager with tekekinetic powers. It's a fabulous story and they made an awesome film of it starring Sissy Spacek - American actress. I believe there is a re-make. I would recommend catching the original.

@bluemoon7 @wendijane

P.S. Bc I am still avoiding RL I need to just pick up on wendi's comment. Carrie didn't have telepathic powers. She couldn't read people's minds. She had telekinetic powers. She could move objects with the force of her mind. And they were quite destructive bc she was unhappy and troubled. She was bullied. She was an outsider. It's a fierce story.

I like Stephen King! :) But I haven´t read all of his novels, yet.
Oh, THAT Carrie I have heard about ...

I know the Meldrum interview and was stunned that Michael loves Stephen King! *mindblown*
Michael was such an avid reader and has such a varied taste in reading. One reason to admire him even more.

Stephen King´s stories seem to always have a deeper, profound layer of meaning/psychology. Many Germans still think he is "only" a good horror author.

Yeah it's been a while since I saw it - the ending was with me for weeks ! one of the best endings in a film for me.
