The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

I’m from CT. I plan on going too. Just haven’t requested the songs I want to listen to and paid the fee! I’ve been procrastinating and I’d rather not go in the winter!
Will you go if I hold you at gunpoint? 🫢

"Truth about Youth" feat. LL Cool J should be also a finished song.
Do u have information about truth about youth so angel and do you love me is full songs
Author Joseph Vogel writes, in his 'Man In The Music' book, that LL Cool J raps on a few tracks (for the 'Dangerous' album), and 'Serious Effect' and 'Truth About Youth' are among these tracks.

Considering that 'Serious Effect' is a complete song, this strongly suggests that 'Truth About Youth' is also a complete song.

Note also that in the late '80s, LL Cool J used to mock Michael Jackson's changing appearance, and in particular his nose jobs.

LL Cool J's negative comments about him may explain why any of these complete songs were not eventually included on the 'Dangerous' album.

You mean Michael Jackson recorded vocals for truth about youth ?

Michael Jackson apparently recorded vocals for the 'Truth About Youth' song.

Even LL Cool J himself suggests that all of these few tracks (which he raps on) are complete.

Bryan Loren co-produced that song.

Michael Jackson reportedly worked on the 'Get Around' song for at least two studio albums ('BAD', 'Invincible').

But the exact stage of completion of 'Get Around' is not known.

'Rampage' exists, but apparently only with LaShawn Daniels' vocals on it.

LaShawn Daniels was an American vocal producer and songwriter and he was in Rodney Jerkins' team.

LaShawn Daniels used to sing on certain vocal guide tracks (such as, 'You Rock My World', 'Rampage', etc) that were later meant to become songs for the 'Invincible' album.

@ChanceToDance thanks!

Also curious about following songs with MJ writing credits or background vocals but released by other artists: eaten alive, centipede, muscles, nighttime lover, why, this had to be, the hurt, just friends, you're the one, children's holiday

Also no word yet on dark lady/H20 and the 4th duet with Paul McCartney (can't remember the title)

If you don't love me, monkey business, serious effect and work that body are also completed
I think ghost of another lover and family thing also belong in the incomplete list.

BTW isn't Iowa one of his classical pieces? If yes vocals are not required.

The song you’re thinking of, “Remember This Night,” actually isn’t a fourth McCartney duet; it’s a separate song that samples “Say Say Say.” I can’t for the life of me remember it, but I did some digging some time ago.

Lady of Summer is one of the pieces MJ showed to classical composer David Michael Frank in 2009 shortly before he died.

The version of King Tutankhamen I heard was an instrumental track from 2008. No vocals on what I heard.

What I heard [of “Bang Your Head” and “Butter Funk”] were instrumentals.

Surprised re: “King Tutankhamen.” MJ was developing a feature film based on him sometime in the 1990s or 2000s and I’d always assumed this was affiliated with that. Even so, four more tracks removed from the “releasable songs” list (unless you’re interested in his classical pieces).

Looking more and more like they're gonna have to start doing anthology type stuff sooner rather than later. I will certainly be here for it.

'Set It On Out' was written and composed by Michael Jackson in 1982.

But there is no confirmation regarding a recorded (with vocals) version of it.

'Somewhere In Time' was written by Michael Jackson in the early '80s.

It is said that 'Somewhere In Time' was also recorded by Michael Jackson in the early '80s.

Brad Sundberg played 'Jane Is A Groupie' in one of his seminars.

'Jane Is A Groupie' apparently has Michael Jackson's vocals on it, and it was meant for the 'Dangerous' album.

People noted that the chorus of 'Give In To Me' was inspired by the chorus of the 'Jane Is A Groupie' song.

It is said that 'Basszouille' (also known as 'Bassouille') exists as a complete track (vocally and musically).

Bruce Swedien co-wrote 'Basszouille', and it was meant for the 'HIStory' album.

Bruce had denied this.

“Bassouille” (whatever that means) definitely doesn’t exist. Nobody from the HIStory sessions has any recollection of it.

You also claimed that 'Face' (a song also from the 'HIStory' album sessions) does not exist:

"Additionally, don't listen to people if they tell you about songs like Fear or Face or Bassouille. None of them actually exist"

But you were again wrong, because Brad Sundberg played the 'Face' song and this was confirmed by attendees at that seminar.

You also claimed that 'Face' (a song also from the 'HIStory' album sessions) does not exist:
On January 29, 2014. ROFL. You must be kidding! So much information has become available since then, and while ‘Faces’ (not ‘Face’) has indeed been presented at a seminar, there is still no accurate information whatsoever on the supposed ‘Baszouille‘ song.

Out of all the members on this forum, I find it funny how you are the one to point the finger at someone for posting wrong information, when it is in fact you who is constantly perpetuating myths. Instead of attacking someone else’s credibility, perhaps you should inform yourself properly first, after taking a look at trustworthy sources, and then pretend to be the expert.

I don't really see why he keeps trying to come out swinging as if anyone is going to take him seriously at this point. Especially using years old quotes lol.
