Teddy tried to play us by playing that manmade version of Joy......I haven't seen anyone post it here but around 2 weeks ago Teddy Riley posted an MJ tribute on his Instagram, but the curious part was the description:
"This is what my music do for you!!! Thank you all for the continue love and support for all of my music and accomplishments!!! Can’t wait to share more!! Waiting for the business to change hands!!!"
Teddy Riley on Instagram: "This is what my music do for you!!! Thank you all for the continue love and support for all of my music and accomplishments!!! Can’t wait to share more!! Waiting for the business to change hands!!! #Gamma #letsgo #legend #n

Maybe we'll get a new release once the estate sells the music catalog to Sony?
Lmao. Yeah I remember that. But Prince did say a while ago that they were looking into releasing new music with the biopic so this is confirmation that they're going through with it, and that Teddy Riley will be the one remixing the new songs - or that at least they'll be releasing one of his outtakes. He also said 2 years ago around the same time as Steve Porcaro that they were in talks with the estate for music releases so I believe this to be legit.Teddy tried to play us by playing that manmade version of Joy......
good point! It makes sense for the Estate to keep their distance from the releases now that we know the SONY deal.
The more material a brand has unpublished the more it worth.
SONY will try to make profit off of this deal, and releasing new music is part of it.
Can you ask bill on song tomboy@Alec , do you know the name of this Neff-U song?

This forty-second excerpt of the song can be heard in the documentary MICHAEL: The Making of the Album
Lyrics
[Verse]
It's like, when a mother sends her child off to war,
They don't know if they're ever gonna come back, you know
How can we look at such things happening and not, you know, wanna do something
How can we turn our heads and pretend as if we don't see it, you know
I can't see people in pain
They pretend as if it's not there (?)
This song would not be "For The World" according to Damien Shields.
Edit : I don't know if my link works.

Ask him if MJ recorded verses on tomboy
He is explaining the song lyrics lolsource: I made it up
Why do you keep asking about Tomboy? Michael recorded vocals but the song is not completeCan you ask bill on song tomboy
This is quite cryptic, I wonder what he meant by that?Bill Bottrell on "Abortion Papers":
Eh. Brian was not somebody I cared to follow.
Definitely no song like that at Hayvenhurst.
Can Am was a frightful place.
It seems Bill likes neither Brian Malouf nor "Can-Am Recorders" studios. This is quite cryptic, I wonder what he meant by that?
Why do you keep asking about Tomboy? Michael recorded vocals but the song is not complete
"He [Roger Troutman] worked with us on several early Bad tracks. It wasn't kept but it felt and sounded great. Tomboy and Al Capone.. As far as tomboy, I didn't make it and was not fully completed. Al Capone had Roger as a guest Muscian. The track was mostly done when he came in." - John Barnes
Bill Bottrell on "Abortion Papers":
Eh. Brian was not somebody I cared to follow.
Definitely no song like that at Hayvenhurst.
Can Am was a frightful place.
He claims many songs on the Bad album were recorded with him.Anyone know if MJ and Brian Malouf did any other songs?
Thanks for the source! I'm curious to know more, it would be nice to have an interview focused on his collaboration with MJ.at around 14 to 16 minutes, Malouf briefly mentions working on songs for Victory and Bad albums
Brian Malouf on Michael Jackson, the Djooky Music Awards, and the time Art Alexakis from Everclear put him in the hospital

This pretty much confirms "Stop That" is not "Tomboy". It has been more likely developed from Tomboy, though.
He claims many songs on the Bad album were recorded with him.
Afaik, AP & DD were recorded with him for sure.
