Tell Me, Who Do You Know
So it's just a Cheater instrumental with guitar added, alternate mix I guessIs not from the 2001 session, but it comes from a Brad Sundberg seminar.

Could be Brad just added more to it like Chicago 1945So it's just a Cheater instrumental with guitar added, alternate mix I guess
Question, was Michael gonna most of the T.I.I tour with live vocals and some playback? Or all playback?
According to Michael Prince MJ wanted to sing live as much as he could this time around. Whether it would have worked out that way is another thing entirelyQuestion, was Michael gonna most of the T.I.I tour with live vocals and some playback? Or all playback?
So what songs would be live in your opinion? Probably the same ones he did on previous tours like WBSS, Human Nature, IJCSLY and the medleyT.I.I rehearsals pretty much tell you what was going to be live and what was going to be lip-synced.
No, that's just ballads and HIStory tour. It wasn't going to be like that again. So what songs would be live in your opinion? Probably the same ones he did on previous tours like WBSS, Human Nature, IJCSLY and the medley
Pretty boring selection if this is the case
Pretty sure it was going to be like that. I can’t see Michael suddenly singing things like Billie Jean and Beat It live, after having lip-synched them on the HIStory Tour. No, that's just ballads and HIStory tour. It wasn't going to be like that again.
Not at 50 anywayPretty sure it was going to be like that. I can’t see Michael suddenly singing things like Billie Jean and Beat It live, after having lip-synched them on the HIStory Tour.
They're his biggest hits, he'd have to sing them. He sang it live every other concert anyway. All he had to do was change the tempo and the pitch.Pretty sure it was going to be like that. I don’t know man. It seems like a natural progression for him to stick to the lip-synching. Both songs were lip-synched at the 30th Anniversary shows, for example. They're his biggest hits, he'd have to sing them. He sang it live every other concert anyway. I think TII was gonna be a reset of sorts. More of a return to the Bad/Dangerous Tour Energy.I don’t know man. It seems like a natural progression for him to stick to the lip-synching. Both songs were lip-synched at the 30th Anniversary shows, for example.
Songs that were lip-synched once, were always lip-synched after that first time e.g. Thriller was sung live on the Bad Tour and lip-synched every single time after the Munich concert on the Dangerous Tour. Another example is Smooth Criminal, or The Way You Make Me Feel, after the European leg of the Bad Tour. That’s kinda how Michael functioned.
Perhaps. I believe Michael Prince that MJ told him that he wanted to sing more. The question is how realistic that would have been, given his health. I think many things would have changed as the shows went on, one of them probably being the realisation that he wouldn’t be able to sing live as much as he had intended.I think TII was gonna be a reset of sorts. More of a return to the Bad/Dangerous Tour Energy.
But sure, maybe for the more highly choreographed numbers, he preferred to save his strength.
in the seminar he said that MJ did NOT re-record Stranger in Moscow and WBSSAccording to Michael Prince MJ wanted to sing live as much as he could this time around. Whether it would have worked out that way is another thing entirely
I asked him (Fred Jerkins) a lot about unreleased material. He said they wrote a lot of stuff and that LaShawn recorded some of it with his voice, as demos for MJ to consider, but that he couldn’t recall if MJ recorded anything we don’t know about.
Can you show us all what said Damien shields
He did.Can you show us all what said Damien shields
He also said that Fred didn't recall working on Cheater. https://x.com/DamienShields/status/1719946925301219801Can you show us all what said Damien shields
I'm even more jealous of this now having heard Now and ThenI'm pretty sure The Beatles have exclusive use of that tech for now. Peter hasn't allowed anyone else to use it so far.

Did MJ get to record vocals for You Are My World? From what I’ve read, R. Kelly originally intended for MJ to record it, and only released it for himself on his 11th studio album, Write Me Back, after MJ’s death.
He also wanted to scrub R.Kelly from "I have this dream".MJ didn't record anything with R Kelly towards the end of his life. R Kelly had prepared around ten songs for MJ. Some songs are featured on his 2010 album "Love Letter" including, apparently, the song "Not Feelin' The Love."
Otherwise during his career, I may have found a collaboration between them which remains unpublished. But I'm not sure at all.
I don't really want MJ's name to be associated with that of R Kelly again.
Yes! According to Damien ShieldsHe also wanted to scrub R.Kelly from "I have this dream".
Michael Prince has said that towards the middle of June 09 they realised he may have had the intention to do as much love as possible but the reality was he wasn't up to it. Hence recording WBSS to lip synch and a few others.I think TII was gonna be a reset of sorts. More of a return to the Bad/Dangerous Tour Energy.

I'm not saying it was easy. But I think he would've tried. In any case, rerecording the vocals would've been a worthy exchange. That's more egregious about things really.Michael Prince has said that towards the middle of June 09 they realised he may have had the intention to do as much love as possible but the reality was he wasn't up to it. I think realistically This Is It would've been 80 percent mimed. Let's be real here, had he have served through to July he'd have been in pretty poor shape.
