The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

Seems as though multiple different takes of “This Is It” were made. I’ve theorized that MJ re-recorded it solo and retitled it (hence why Greg Phillinganes was credited as pianist).
I agree. I don’t know when “This Is It” was recorded again, potentially around 2009 or Dangerous sessions I feel like, but either way prob not Thriller. The remix that Paul Anka released is the Thriller Demo and then idk any other versions.
There was only 3 tracks from the Anka Sessions right?

This Is It, given away to Sa-Fire as I Never Heard
Love Never Felt So Good
which was given to Johnny Mathis
And Don't Matter to Me, which may not even be a whole song?
yes. I wish that the This Is It demo and Don’t Matter to Me were featured on Thriller 40. It was a perfect opportunity.
The demo that Paul played on TV is definitely a different recording
yes, during his live concerts they were Michael’s demo vocals. It matches with the demo but for some reason the part that Michael sings after Paul is pitched down which I think is weird because in the demo snippet we have leaked, it is regular pitch. Idk why they bother to do that.

Definitely not 2009. I doubt he re-recorded it anytime after the Thriller era. He probably recorded a demo with Paul Anka in 1980, and then revisited it in 1983. Hence the community’s confusion with regard to the year of recording.

Probably in order to make it easier for Paul to sing it.

Wow great rehearsal footage. - That gives hope for more to come.

BUT - it looks like MJ has a long-haired wig. - I would so have prefered that to the short Invincible har look he went with.
He wore wig ???.I'm confused about his hair in reheaseal different than the concert

Maybe, or maybe it's just because he worked on Thriller 25.
Then why didn't they also call Quincy since he was also an integral part of Thriller? This is why it's curious to me how they called Will.i.am even with the drama both parties used to have. Deep down I'm hoping they're in better relations so the estate doesn't block any potential releases like it was done with "I'm Dreamin'", if that ever happens again lol.

It is interesting how they got Will.i.am to do an interview even with all the feud him and the estate used to have lol. Hopefully this means they'll be more willing to do some kind of collaboration in the future.
Maybe we'll get I'm Dreamin released soon perhaps?
