The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

Honestly wouldn't mind another box set. I feel like the odds would be better for us to net some of the "final years" material with that. Not sure how much more we would get (realistically) from individual reissues.

I doubt he even has more snippets. I bet he said that just to get you people riled up lol.
You'd think someone would join a forum to learn and share with a group of like-minded people, not piss them off. I honestly have no further comment on said person.

Just the way that he said that in response to you people wanting him banned makes me think he only said it to intentionally piss you off. I don't know how he'd even have another snippet when the snippet he had came from AdeZ sending it to someone else.

Prove there's another snippet circulating then. Describe how it sounds like.

Slipped Away must have lost out to Time Waits For No One.

Smh to be his "son"....he doesn't know much of anything....we know more than he does
In fairness, he was still a child when MJ died and has no legal authority to explore the vault. Moreover, perhaps he’s just not interested in that; he seems to be more invested in carrying on his philanthropic history than worrying about the material he never finished.

Saying the vault is empty is like MJ saying it was gonna be his last tour: not true. They definitely want MJ material available the rest of our lives, and our kids lives, even if they are just hooks for hip hop. They used to say there was ton, but they decided to stop that.

Well said.

There is no reason at all why any of Michael's kids should be interested in managing his music legacy, he was their father, sure, but they have their own lives to live. Prince does a decent enough job, imo, in involving himself in all of this. He answers endless questions patiently and cheerfully. He's quite involved in the museum at Hayvenhurst if those videos from Liam McEwan are anything to go by. He organises the annual Thriller / Halloween thing which raises money for his foundation and the Dee Dee Jackson foundation. I agree that the philanthropy / humanitarianism of his father seems to inspire him more and that's great.

Give the guy a break. Is he supposed to be an expert in the contents of the vault? Does MJE fully know what is in the vault? That is the more pertinent question since they are meant to be managing it.

I've never really understood why some people feel that MJ's kids should be that involved, it would be nice, for sure, but they need to have their own lives, and MJ clearly understood that. Maybe when they are older and have lived a bit they will decide to get involved.
