The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

He's not wrong though, a lot of what's in the vault really are rough ideas. There are plenty of releasable songs remaining, but if you compare that to the vast amount of songs that are instrumentals or that are mumbled then you basically don't have a lot of songs left.
The thing is that he's not talking about the majority of the vault, he talks about everything remaining. It seems that they gave him the impression that everything in the vault is just scratch ideas and ad-libs. While there are at least 15 completed remaining tracks.

He said "a lot of the vault" two times, not all of the vault. Saying "most of what's in the vault are rough ideas" seems fair compared to saying there's nothing left like the estate says, even though we know well that's not exactly the case.

There's probably enough left for a box set, with lots of unfinished songs, and anniversary releases, with lots of unfinished songs. They seem to mostly care about Material modern artists can change for radio hits mostly.

What if the estate were to release each album in a box set that would include:

Alternate/Unused Album Covers in 4K
Each song in the absolute best quality possible
Demos of the songs included in the album (If they had demos)
Unused songs that are in a state of completion or have full vocals
4K/HD Videos
Interviews
Booklet of the history of each song

Wouldn't that be heaven

I would honestly trade away all the unreleased songs just so MJ could rest in peace actually. At this point, I'd give away his whole career so the guy could at least have had a chance. It's still very bittersweet that this is all we have to look forward to, and it's not much of a winning game.

There are some misconceptions on Michael's vault.

Michael brought up a lot of songs to a certain point where he could hear the chorus, but if he didn't like them, he wouldn't continue working on it.
Michael only finished songs that he was satisfied with and was planning to release.

Michael was also very slow with working on songs, he was such a perfectionist that if things went completely in his way. We may have never had a single album release.

Additionally, Michael's music is in a lot of different producers' hands, it's not all in one place. Michael may have more than almost all other artists but because it's spread so thin, it's difficult to gauge.

I think the Estate are keeping their cards close to their chest, given the fact that they have this tax case over their head. The last thing they want to reveal their hand and expose a large amount of earning potential

What unreleased songs not leaked Chris cadman talked about it in his book for The Record 1 and 2.

pretty much every unreleased song we know of has been discussed within this thread (as well as other threads) over and over
But I found info that he wrote about pressure .belong 2 .on my anger .and seduction and others I don't remember them

I can't read Chris cadmen book I'm asking people who read it .so why you put your nose in my question
I've answered this before, man. For The Record is not the best current source we have. It is over a decade old.

"Belong 2" and "On My Anger" likely don't exist. They might be in the book, yes, but the book isn't spot on about everything. Don't waste your time trying to find info about them.

"Pressure" and "Seduction" have been registered with BMI & ASCAP at various times. I recall there being two separate "Pressure" titles - one co-written by Bryan Loren. I'll have to do some searching again for the others.

You found info he wrote about the songs, but you haven't read the book ? I assume that means you read it on Wikipedia or the MJ Wiki ? I don't recommend that, either. It doesn't do you any favors if you want to learn about genuine songs.

It would be more like Disc 2:

Cheater
Scared of the Moon
New Song
New Song
We Are Here to Change the World
Old Song
Demo of a song from the album
Demo of a song from the album
New version of old song
New version of old Song

But really there ain't enough previously released outtakes from Bad to do that.

Disc 2 for me would be like what they did for thriller 40, add the thriller 25 extras

No, that would be Disc 3, the Digital Exclusive stuff. Disc 2 is the actual new stuff.
Disc 2 would be 6 previously unreleased tracks - 3 of them probably demos or alternate versions of already released stuff.

if Q would agree to Bad 40, we'd probably get something like

01 Crack Kills
02 Streetwalker '87
03 Buffalo Bill
04 Cheater
05 IJCSLY solo
06 Price of Fame
07 APOM '85
08 Fly Away
09 What You Do To Me
10 Al Capone

I don't agree with every choice but it's solid.

This one's just about perfect. I'm down for that.

Fly Away irks my soul but it'd probably be there.
