Re: Status hearings discussion thread / next hearing April 6th - Klein & Branca Subpoena

The pathetci defence doesn't have defence. So they try anything.

Go to jail Murray!

Re: Status hearings discussion thread / next hearing April 6th - Klein & Branca Subpoena

But, Alberto could have at least told authorities that Murray had him put evidence in a bag once they interviewed him and he did not! Only until he was at the Pre-trial is when he spilled the beans about that! SMH And saying he might write a book was stupid!

Everybody who was there on June 25th credibility and motives are on the line here and we don't need anyone forgetting details of what happened on that day nor selling stories about it for money!

Re: Status hearings discussion thread / next hearing April 6th - Klein & Branca Subpoena

just spoke to them at the hospital and it took their lawyers to contact the police b4 they finally gave a proper statement

from what i recollect alvarez said he and his lawyer had to go through media to get an appointment with police officers. does anyone else remember this?

Re: Status hearings discussion thread / next hearing April 6th - Klein & Branca Subpoena

yeah i think so

yeah I remember this, I believe they hadn't talked to them in the first three months after Mj's death or something. They had to lawyer up, get the media to be noticed also weren't there also rumors about only 3 cops working on this case around the same time, we found out the cops hadn't spoken to Alebrto etc?

Re: Status hearings discussion thread / next hearing April 6th - Klein & Branca Subpoena

Thanks for that info guys! Didn't know about some of what y'all posted!

Re: Status hearings discussion thread / next hearing April 6th - Klein & Branca Subpoena

Thanks for the info all! part of me thinks that the investigation for the case has been less than thorough

Re: Status hearings discussion thread / next hearing April 6th - Klein & Branca Subpoena

whens the next hearing re klien. cant find the info scanning through the articles. when the judge is gonna look through the medical records.or os the next hearing the 21st? and i find it strange that only on the 21st are the pros asking for murrays interviews with the police to be entered into evidence.you would think it would have been the first thing they entered in. i also wonder about the TII film. in the questionaire ppl were asked if they had watched it. this needs to be entered into evidence especially with the defence claims of mj being ill etc. the question is if it has been

But, Alberto could have at least told authorities that Murray had him put evidence in a bag once they interviewed him and he did not! Only until he was at the Pre-trial is when he spilled the beans about that!

They interviewed him for two minutes at the hospital, Alberto believed they were collecting the meds because Murray had to take eveything to the hospital , he thought that what Murray did and he had no reason to bring it up with the officers at the hospital .After people started to talk about propofol and its milky appearance he believed what he saw was of great importance and he tried everything in his power to contact police officers, so no Alberto did nothing wrong .

Soundmind is right. Remember Alberto didn't know what happened to Michael. Murray told him that "he had a reaction". The basic rule is if you find someone unconscious and think that drugs had a role in it (such as reaction, overdose, suicide attempt etc), you collect any visible drugs and take it to the hospital so that doctors can determine what might be the problem and reverse it if possible.

so if Alberto believed Michael had "a reaction" as Murray told him, he was doing the right thing helping collecting the drugs so that doctors at the hospital can pinpoint the problem. I think like soundmind said after the information being posted in the press about propofol, he realized that he wasn't collecting the medicines for the doctors to see but to hide them and he came forward with that information.

Don't think on the basis of what we know now. Think about what the people could have known at that time. When Alvarez walked into that room he had no idea of what was happening. Similarly detectives didn't know what happened. and yet we expect everyone act like they knew "Murray killed Michael".

Re: Status hearings discussion thread / next hearing April 6th - Klein & Branca Subpoena

if the prosecutors ask for TII to be admissible as evidence , to prove that MJ was healthy , the defence will ask the judge to grant them full access to everything AEG's cameras recorded between may and June . TII was edited like every movie , they will argue it's not an honest representation of what took place .

Footage lies but science does not , MJ was in perfect health that's what his body said , that's all the posecutors need to make that point.

Good point about the footage. They would ask for everything and use days when Michael had a Kline appointment and was groggy to depict his overall demeanor and health. I want the Proc to stick to the autopsy report in showing his health too.

Re: Status hearings discussion thread / next hearing April 6th - Klein & Branca Subpoena

Gotcha..see I didn't know or can't remember that they interviewed him for just a few minutes and that's why he didn't give all the details! So I understand better now! Thx guys!

"- Under cross examination Alvarez acknowledged he had not told police in two initial interviews that Murray had ordered him to remove potential evidence. Murray's attorney, Ed Chernoff, suggested to Alvarez on Wednesday that Murray could have intended to bring the medication to the hospital, or set it aside to make room for the paramedics. Below is a part of testimony :

“You didn’t think it was suspicious?” asked defense lawyer Ed Chernoff.
“Apparently not, sir,” Alvarez said.
“You thought he was packing up to go to the hospital, right?” the lawyer asked.
“Yes, sir,” Alvarez replied.

- In cross examination Alvarez was also asked about his relationship with Jackson family and his discussions with other staff members of MJ. Alvarez acknowledged that he had refused to speak to a defense investigator who had sought to interview him, but that in a police interview he had said he might sell his story to the media at a later date."

But, still, he is bodyguard, he should have called 911 right away. Michael was laying helpless, wasn't that odd for him that at first they start collecting drugs then calling 911?
So what the doctor was there, they weren't in hospital environment, right? The bodyguards are trained to act swiftly when they see something suspicious. They do go to training, they are bodyguards FFS.
Its not just me who is wondering how Alvarez acted, as a bodyguards, who is trained to protect his boss, no matter what. There are a lot of people who are following the case, are wondering too.

Besides, I don't remember that Alvarez said they were collecting drugs to bring it to hospital. He just did, because Murray told him so.

Murray is solely responsible for killing Michael, but Alvarez action doesn't sit well with me. I don't know, maybe we will learn more on trial.

Thats all.

Re: Status hearings discussion thread / next hearing April 6th - Klein & Branca Subpoena

do they? i remember reading stories on here about someone who gave an interview who was asked by mj to a be a bodgyguard. they had no training previous history in the military/police etc. end of the day the Dr is in control you take you orders from him. even the medics took their orders from murray

Besides, I don't remember that Alvarez said they were collecting drugs to bring it to hospital. He just did, because Murray told him so.
he presuming thats why he was picking them up like what ivy said. alberto would hardly be thinking im picking them up to hide cause murray just comitted manslaughter

Its not just me who is wondering how Alvarez acted, as a bodyguards, who is trained to protect his boss, no matter what.
yeah well amybe he thought he was protecting mj either collecting them for the hospital or collecting them cause they were something dodgy like with elvis b.guards/staff

Re: Status hearings discussion thread / next hearing April 6th - Klein & Branca Subpoena

anyone remember how many days the jury were out in 03-05. was it around 7?

Re: Status hearings discussion thread / next hearing April 6th - Klein & Branca Subpoena

I think 10 days?

Re: Status hearings discussion thread / next hearing April 6th - Klein & Branca Subpoena

yeah it was something like that. does anyone have the exact days

Re: Status hearings discussion thread / next hearing April 6th - Klein & Branca Subpoena

closing arguments were on June /2/2005 which was a Thursday and they ended on Monday 2/13/2005.

Re: Status hearings discussion thread / next hearing April 6th - Klein & Branca Subpoena

did closing arguments finish on the 2nd? so it was 7 days of deliberation

8 THE COURT: For the jury that’s going to be
9 deliberating, you will deliberate during the normal
10 hours that we were holding court, so from 8:30 to
11 2:30 will be your deliberations. I would like you
12 to take your breaks at the same time as you were
13 taking breaks. And there’s a reason for this. It
14 has nothing to do with you, but it has to do with
15 the whole rest of the Court.
16 The reason we ran such a strict schedule was
17 the other courtrooms have to shut down. So many
18 things happened that are not you, it’s the rest of
19 the whole system that we have to rely on. They have
20 to rely on us operating on a certain time zone to
21 take care of their ongoing business.
22 So I’d appreciate it if you would do that.
23 All right. I’m going to allow all of you to
24 go out this way, because I assume that some of the
25 alternates have personal belongings that they need
26 to pick up. And then after the alternates have
27 departed, then you may start your deliberations.

THE COURT: This Court is in recess.
3 (The proceedings adjourned at 12:30 p.m.)

they finished on that day and delibrations started immediatley

Re: Status hearings discussion thread / next hearing April 6th - Klein & Branca Subpoena

thanks

Re: Status hearings discussion thread / next hearing April 6th - Klein & Branca Subpoena

Closing arguments lasted 2 days. I think they were completed on June 3 (Friday)?

It is very strange to me that Alvarez, the nanny, the chef, the other bodyguards did not ask to call 911.

Re: Status hearings discussion thread / next hearing April 6th - Klein & Branca Subpoena

It is very strange to me that Alvarez, the nanny, the chef, the other bodyguards did not ask to call 911.

Jrsfan, I read Alvarez runs upstairs and Murray is screaming to get an ambulance. Alvarez then said, "At this point, I reached for my phone." As soon as he reaches for his phone to call 911, he hears Paris crying in the background. After he brings the children downstairs, he returns back up and that's when murray asks him to get the bottles . And then, he proceeds to call 911. But it seems like he initially planned to dial 911 right away, but interrupted by Paris crying.

As for the chef and the nanny, that goes for the housekeepers as well....Remember, it was actually one of the housekeepers who suggested "I think there may be something wrong with Mr. Jackson."

As for the other bodyguards, there's no idea where they were! Hopefully, they'll testify and we'll see where they were during all of this!

The other bodyguards were obviously not watching Mr Jackson..

Re: Status hearings discussion thread / next hearing April 6th - Klein & Branca Subpoena

^ I've never heard any of their stories. It would be interesting to hear Larry and Lewis's story. Not sure if there were more at the house around that time.....we'll see during trial.

Well, If the Judge gets full acess of footage - then that would be Unedited right? Not just the entertainment side of This Is It the documentary.

yes, that is how I remember it.. Alberto got a call from Michael Amir saying go to the house or something. I still am baffled as to how Murray thought calling security would help MJ when he was the doctor. He knew good and well MJ wasn't breathing so calling 911 is what he should've done.

Murray is not a doctor. He's a dealer.
