Well, because it's a BR release where they easily (but didn't cause they are lazy) put a lot more footage in it. But thanks, means I don't need to buy the BR.

The Extra hour not shown on The ABC TV airing is well worth it and you can purchase it at Michaeljackson.com only.

I got my BAD 25 Blu-Ray a few days ago. And because I never seen the full length version before it was worth it. I mean just loved seeing the rare footage of MJ, I was truly fangirling!:wub: It really is an amazing doc!

does this extra hour also contain "new" clips of Michael, or is it just extended interview footage of the participants?

The BBC showed the film in its entirety as did other territories. The film is around 130 minutes long.

The film was shown in its entirety in theatres and at film festivals throughout the world.

ABC in the USA, rather than dedicate such a long slot to MJ, edited the documentary to fit an hour long slot.

The Blu-ray/DVD release has the full film, not the edited American TV broadcast.

There's no 'extra hour' of material it's just the film.

There are 2 versions, the one which has a duration of 2 hours and a shorter version..
I hope that the full one is for sale..?

And finally the dvd has made its way to Finland too :)
Everything is intact and a quick spin on the laptop-player made sure the disc works as it should. What a treat I have for the evening!

The DVD was always the full 2 hour version. The show on ABC TV was edited from the original 2 hour version to fit the time slot.

I know nthing about Mac players, sorry. I know on Windows it would work in VLC or Media player Classic. You probably should find a player that shows not just DVD, but avi as well. They usually support subtitles.

My copy arrived today. I have seen it already on the computer but I watched it now on the TV. Amazing. Especially the Another Part of Me performance. One of my favorite MJ documentaries, definitely.

Here is my story; I did wait for 14 days and they couldn't ship.. Stupid guys.. I did order DVD & BluRay.

They said my adress is wrong than I did write correct one after bought (one day later) Still waiting. And I want them to cancel my order at last, and I said I'll download from internet. And this will be your fault, don't judge me.. I'll not buy it, I don't want it anymore. If amazon sells in future, I'll buy from them.

I hate these sony shits... myplaydirect.com...

When taking my money there is no mistake, when shipping an order there is a mistake... I want to use bad words but I'll not...

First release I haven't supported. Sucks they treated you like that. We need to not buy these crap releases just for the sake of it (it's cool if you don't have it/seen it) because then they'll just keep releasing crap if we do. What are they waiting for to use all that studio footage for? This was the chance to release it.
