Since MJ seems to be partnering up with Pepsi...

Ok i got the perfect endorsement. 1-800 Collect. I made this parody a while ago..( I hope i can remember it all)...imagine MJ singing this in a commercial.

Didn't SoBe say that this would be a year long promotion? I'm sure I read that somewhere.

Who knows what they might have planned for the FUTURE.

When I was in chat with J5, 8701girl and licorice, the cereal LIFE was mentioned. So that gave me an idea. I came up with two scenarios...

Scenario No.1. This requires the participation of two Jackson brothers lol. Picture this-

Marlon and Tito are sitting together at a kitchen table. Tito has a bowl of cereal in front of him.

Marlon - What's this stuff?

Tito - Some cereal... s'pose to be good for you.

Marlon - Are you gonna try it?

Tito - I'm not gonna try it! You try it! (pushes bowl in front of Marlon)

Marlon - I'm not gonna try it! (pushes bowl back in front of Tito)

Tito - I know... let's get Mikey!

Marlon - He won't eat it, he hates everything.

Michael walks in, sits at table, grabs bowl and starts eating it.

Tito - He likes it! Hey Mikey!

Or, Scenario No.2.

Backstage at a MJ concert, some stage hands are relaxing after their hard work setting up stuff. They pour themselves each a bowl of Life cereal, and are munching away.

Michael, looking all tired out, comes backstage after a number.

Michael - Man, I'm running out of energy! I gotta have something to eat!

One of the stage hands offers him a bowl of Life cereal.

Stage hand - Here you go; try this.

Michael's nutritionist walks up to them.

Nutritionist - He won't eat that; he hates everything!

Michael starts shoveling spoonfuls of Life cereal in his mouth.

Nutritionist - He likes it! Hey Mikey!

Michael, now full of energy, runs back on stage to wild applause.

At this point, what else is there to mention? The only thing MJ is promoting right now IS Thriller 25.

Only time will tell if they do something with him in the future, but as far as I'm concerned, this was a DANG good start. It certainly surprised me, that's for sure!

and never do a commercial for Kmart, the past decade Kmarts have been shutting down all around the country..

To be honest Big Apple, Mike isn't promoting anything. He hasn't been seen in ages. He did a Ebony Photoshoot and one for L'Vogue, but that's it. The way this album is being marketed is very strange to me. It's like they're marketing it without Michael, and I'm not sure if that's good or bad:huh:

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Even if Michael's new PR team contacted Pepsi, first, Pepsi decided that Michael was worth the chance. And I don't think that Pepsi would use Michael to sell a drink if they didn't have bigger plans for the future...like trying to position themselves to be the sponsors of his next tour. Pepsi is about selling drinks. And there are way too many other stars out there that they could have chosen to push the Sobe Life water. But they went with Michael. And I believe that the Pepsi is testing the waters with this ad collab. I believe they wanted to see how the public will react if they work with Michael again. And so far, I didn't see any family values organizations or other zealots out there campaigning against the ads. The ads were shown to the most US citizens possible by being shown at the Superbowl, so if anyone was gonna complain, they have had ample time to do so. So I think Pepsi got what they wanted. Now, I look for them to be the sponsors of the tour.

How about MJ endorses some kind of fragrance?

Picture MJ in one of those weird, artsy fartsy Chanel commercials that make no sense. lol

Classical music is playing, MJ is in a tux. A beautiful woman in a long gown appears and says harshly to him in French 'Tu es egoiste!' And then they dance, swirling in a gigantic ballroom with chandeliers and ice sculptures of dolphins and swans.
