... Because that one comment was off to me. It involved Michael and some argumentation which was unnecessary, I've felt. .. Nothing more, wasn't singling you out or anything.
I never read that about Britney's last tour. Especially since she didn't struggle to sell tickets. I did however read that Circus was very successful, so much so that they had to add dates, and grossed over 100 million. A number Rihanna will never see (ok, that sounded bitchy but it's true). Interesting.
It was on the same article as Rihanna's struggle. Of course, you can't even begin to compare Rihanna to Britney Spears, who as you cite, has such a large international fanbase. I am aware that 'Circus' did well overall, however, she did struggle to sell tickets at the O2. Visit the same article OP posted.

Britney Spears
There's no doubting that Britney Spears' 2009 ‘Circus' world tour was a financial boon, raking in $131.8m gross revenue. But while a lip-synching backlash met her arrival in Australia, far from sold out dates at London's O2 Arena were reportedly flooded with £2 tickets, knocked down from £100 to avoid vast empty spaces.
Of course, she didn't have an entire leg of her tour flop, and I never claimed she did, but she did struggle to sell tickets at the O2. Like I said, I think it's due to the high cost of tickets nowadays above anything else.
I do like Rihanna's music, but I agree prices are really too high. I am in the UK at the moment and there are so many shows and things to do. This is new for me! But you have to be really rich to be out there, for prices are a joke
