You know in michaels world nothing goes to plan, well mike needs to get out of mikes world and in the real world because this sux.

And people are going to get upset then get banned.

That way you would have a lot more people who wouldn't be able to use their plane tickets and would have to reschedule hotels.

For those with flights: You can likely CHANGE your flight for a fee ($200 or so), which is much more 'affordable' than buying new tickets for March.

For those with hotels: If you beg/plead enough, they may give you a refund, OR allow you to reschedule to new dates.

For those angry at Michael: It's not his fault. Yes, he's the easiest target... for 45 years, he's been the target. We all know better than to blame him! It's always the people around him that end up screwing him over.

So, if you're upset and need to get angry at someone, then get angry with me instead.

Thats why i don't beleive it they have known about these shows for months, madonna is there on the 4th are they rescheduling hers. something smells like a tin of gone off tuna here

I had a hunch that something might go wrong, get rescheduled or postponed. I hope this won't affect the august and later shows. Luckily I only booked a hostel room for one night.

They probably couldn't get everything ready for the july 8th concert at the 02. These things happen.

Of course, but the underground is basically the main source of transportation in London. It would be hard pushed to get 20,000 to one destination arriving around about the same time using buses and taxi's.

at the end of the day yes it is upsetting but remember what Michael has said in the past 'Its the worst thing in the world for me to let my fans down' and I know he will stick by that.
You will get too see him.

i have not bought a ticket for it to be delayed for around a year after i was ment to go... this is a DISGRACE, if anyone wants to buy a ticket for the third of march.. let me no

can someone check the jubilee lines are down madonna is there on the 4th if they are down on the 8th i feel a sabotage has happend, or mike is just a a lost cause

if it's losing money in extreme situations, i do know the situation. it has happened to me. your argument is strictly about money. the idea is to lose the opportunity to see Michael, altogether. you haven't lost that, yet. a lot of people aren't getting that at all. the thing is to wait till someone makes a new solution, to see if you'll see him at all. change happens.

That is awful, awful news. So many fans planning international trips and making arrangements. I will royal screwed if anything changes for the 26 or 28 of July.

Whoever is upset in this thread has the right to be. I know when it comes to tickets and live events, nothing is set in stone, but you'd think a comeback of this magnitude, opening night would go as planned. Now, someone with tickets to only a few nights in has to wait 8 or 9 months? People can be upset if they feel like it, I know I would.

Omg i know exactly how you feel but well .... now in our "Michael" world this is the only thing that we get from everything.Its painfull.All things just get negative.

Breaking News - Reschedule of MJ Concert Dates Announced
Rescheduling Information

Due to the sheer magnitude of the “This Is It” concerts at the O2 Arena promoters and producers AEG Live and Kenny Ortega, Michael’s directorial partner and creative collaborator have elected to move back a few of the opening shows in order to meet the challenges presented by such a massive and technically complex show.
Organisers are determined that all Michael’s legions of fans attending the opening nights get the same quality of staging and level of entertainment. Only the four shows listed here are affected:

· 8th July will take place on 13th July 2009
· 10th July will be moved to 1st March 2010
· 12th July will be moved to 3rd March 2010
· 14th July will be moved to 6th March 2010

“Kenny and Michael are, at the same time, both creative pioneers and perfectionists. This show has grown in size and scope, thereby, necessitating more lead time for manufacture of the set, programming the content for the massive video elements, and, most importantly, more time for full production and dress rehearsals in the world’s busiest arena, the O2. As much as we agonized over this change in the original schedule, we are sure the fans will understand when they experience the level of entertainment Michael Jackson intends to deliver while also ensuring the safety of the musicians, cast and crew and the crisp execution of the production. It is AEG Live’s sincere hope that those lucky enough to have purchased tickets will have enough time to change their personal schedules and travel plans if they are coming from outside of London. We do not want anyone to miss this once-in-a-lifetime experience.”

I'm sorry but I am just shocked and sad because of this.
I had tickets for 14th of july and now all of a sudden I have to wait all whole year?
I had planned everything I just can't believe this..
And it only affects these 4 shows now, which I don't understand at all.

for God's sake it's not HATERS - those who kneel before Michael and everything about him are not more of fans than those who get upset because they are gonna lose their money - use common sense a bit !

People have the right to vent so everyone that is telling people not to bitch needs to be quiet. This is upsetting, especially for people that have made INTERNATIONAL arrangements. And yes, this is partially Michael's fault. You people act as if Michael has no say in the decisions made. People make bad choices and plan poorly, this is partially Michaels fault. Also, I can't believe they have the nerve to offer a %10 discount on hotels.....that is a f*cking insult!
