Prince Jackson steps into public spotlight - endorses jackets by J5 / Jackson's sue for nonpayment

Who will teach Prince about business deals? The ever failing Jacksons? Or Paris... she wants to be an actress, I am fine with that but who will teach her, be there for her, manage her? Latoya? Joe? I feel like crying! :(
I don't want any of the children to be associated with the family and their embarrassments.
 
There's a new video of Prince and Paris I saw on Youtube promoting that Japan tribute concert too for the Jackson Family! SMH I won't bother puttin the video up cause I think it's just pathetic. They look nice in the video very pleasant but, they got these kids working for their grown ass relatives. Whether it's Jackets or no Jackets these kids will always do something in the name of the Jackson family to help them out as the new cash cows they are.

Well, Katherine and Joe used their own children to make money. And they still don't seem to get why Michael was in psychological pain and they still defend the way they brought up their children. So why would they be any different with the grandchildren?

Bohbot's lawyer had no comment.

^^HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. Don't they ever learn that any time they try to exploit Michael Jackson, something bad happens. That should alert them that Michael is watching what they are doing and acting accordingly, and when they include his children, the consequence is more devastating. Obviously they are not paying attention. Don't they see they got into trouble when the kids sign the belts, when they made the perfume, and the latest, GLE. I am waiting for their names to be on the lawsuit for the GLE mess as well.

I think we should not be as concerned as we have been when they try to exploit Michael and his kids, because it never works in their favor. It is this reality that keeps me happy whenever I hear about their business exploitations. Imagine getting $100,000 to sign a jacket that you had nothing to do with artistically and creatively. They are all vultures and deserve all the nice blessings they are getting!!

The backers of these jackets, expect Michael's fans to rush out and buy these jackets. The estate may have given Jackie the permission to use the name, but they forgot to supervise this project even further. I hope they learn that it not a good idea to let these siblings engage in merchandising/promotion of Michael related products.

How come there is a J5 collection that centers on non-J5 products by the way. Who forgot that thriller was not part of the J5. Who are these brothers trying to fool--maybe fans from 2011.

^^Oh so that is why one of my clients told me the kids are getting big and "the girl likes to party". I was wondering what she was referring to and wondered if she was referring to the GLE concert. I hope these kids do not get a negative name in the media, and I hope more people are not seeing these children as party lovers. We all know what these characterizations could lead too.

There's not one doubt in my mind that's what's happening. They have turned their heads from what matters to the superficial glitter of show business.

I'm afraid it's too late.........they now believe that the actions of their relatives (Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins) are done with good intentions...........
 
What can the children do?They are still young and depend on their grandmother-although not for money.
Paris wants to be an actress,maybe she sometimes is acting when she does what the adults tell her what to do.
We´ll see what happens when they are of age.

Michaels mother talked about there was someone home furnishing for them in the new house and removed a picture of Michael Paris had ,on the wall I assume.
Paris put it back straight away

I wonder if you could step back from this statement for a moment, Memefan, and consider it.

This is a proclamation that you've made here against other persons. This is actually very much like a word curse. Do you have the kind of heart that would wish to curse people? Has the hate for the Jacksons built up so strong in you that you would curse them and wish to see them suffer from it?

I do not know the Jacksons at all, and they probably are an imperfect bunch. I am being objective. But this issue isn't specifically about the Jacksons.

Memefan, if you are capable of hating the Jacksons this much then you are capable of hating anyone this much...and that is not a good thing for your heart.

I know you love Michael, and this is about people that you feel have and are continuing to harm Michael and those that are his. I understand. But Memefan, don't hate. Please consider your words. They reflect the heart.

I mean here are children involved in a number of business project with their grandparents and uncles, and they never once ask how these business are going? I find this strange for teens. Any teen would want to know since they are part of this exciting commercial venture. Then, when they see many fail, what motivates them to continue signing up? Is it because they love their family and want to help, or is it because they think it has something to do with Michael? I really do not know.

These kids are on the social networks, are attending school, and use the internet so why do they seem clueless. There must be a lot of brainwashing going on in that family. Well when they are of age we will see.

Well it cannot be a curse made by Memefan because the Jacksons were failing in their business deals long before Memefan was born and long before she wrote that sentence in the thread. We cannot blame Memefan for this. This sounds so much like a Jackson statement blaming others for their mistakes, problems, or the fact that Michael stayed away from them. It was all due to others.

And this expression has proven true, time and time again...(not just for the jacksons, but i've seen real proof of that)... when you willingly try to screw someone....the powers that be come right back and eff you over. Call it a pre-emptive Karma.

Petra, we don't know what they've been telling the kids. The uncles might have said, be ready at this time, I am picking you up for an interview & pay tribute to your dad.

Next thing you know, he is talking about Thriller jackets. And with the jackets fiasco, we know the kids aren't being compensated for their work while the adults are cashing 100K for signing a jacket that Prince, himself, has far more connection to than them.

The kids might not know all the back room dealings & legal ramifications. And quite frankly, it might be for the best. I don't want them to link tribute to their dad to failure

Will you consider, though, to give over, to that Higher Being you refer to as the final judge for the Jacksons...would you give over to Him any Hate you feel in your heart for anyone.

HATE inhibits one from receiving LOVE in its fullest. It blocks love. I don't want that for you, Memefan. I want you freed up to experience love in its fullest in your life. My post was out of concern; I'm not against you.

If you do not hate the Jacksons, nor does anyone else come into your mind that you hate, then you are doing okay!

But your posts often come off like you have hate in your heart. That's why I posted what I have. We all battle that fight of not going over to hate...this is common to us all. It's hard. But it hurts us in the long run if we do.

Just like you say when the Jacksons or anyone does wrong to another it will eventually come back at them; hating someone will eventually hurt you. It affects one's heart condition. That's what I don't want for you.

Forgive me if I'm annoying the heck out of you...I took that risk...for you.

Think of me as naive .... but what does the twitter message mean? Please don't think anything less of me. I just really dont understand.

Is it relating to the jackets? and if so, does it mean he forgives his uncles for their misguided business deal and/but he still forgives them?

I find it all very sad. Who can they trust? They have all the brothers and their guardian guiding them. Of course, they'll think its the right thing to do.

a. because they are kids.
b. they are still naive to the vultures of the business world.
c. they haven't got an unbiased adult to guide them.
d. plus they're enjoying all the attention. (who can blame them)

The p[erson I feel sorry for the MOST is actually Blanket!!! He is the most innocent....shy by all accounts and probably won't be able to stand up to them. Plus he will have forgotten all his father's teachings.

I just want the kis to stop with the business deals and just be kids. They don't need the money just yet and he can still make a mark on the world later on. There is PLENTY of time.

It won't change even if it is presented to them on neon lights. Once they finally realize the public won't give them $$ directly,

they will keep sucking from MJ's children on the low. The ''favors'' will turn into ''family business deals."

True, and when the deals fail they will begin to blame the kid who is involved, in the same way they blamed the kid's father. Poor Prince always involved in a shady deal and he is not even of age. Thank goodness he is too young for people to sue, because, if he remains in deals with the family, when others sue them, Prince will be involved.

Jackson brothers settle suit over 'Thriller,' 'Beat It' jackets

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Three of Michael Jackson's brothers settled a lawsuit Monday that they filed last week against a company they alleged "duped" them in a deal to sell replicas of jackets worn by the pop icon.

The endorsement of the "Thriller" and "Beat It" jackets was the first involving Michael Jackson's oldest son, Prince, who posed for pictures with his uncles as they autographed the limited-edition jackets last month.

"Marlon, Tito and I created this project as a tribute to our brother Michael and his fans worldwide, and we are very happy that there has been a resolution," Jackie Jackson said Monday. The brothers' announcement didn't specify the terms of the settlement.

The brothers filed a lawsuit Tuesday alleging the jacket's marketer bounced a check to them for travel expenses and had failed to pay each of the three brothers the $100,000 each for signing the 1,000 leather jackets.

"We spent the last week making sure that everyone is in agreement with this settlement," Eric Farber, the attorney for the Jackson brothers, said in announcing the settlement. The Jacksons are looking forward to "a successful partnership" in the future with the company, he said.

Steeve Bohbot, owner of Connected Internationals Sales, said he was "relieved to clear up this misunderstanding." "We have such an immense respect for the Jackson brothers and Michael's legacy and are pleased to have resolved this situation," he said.

The Jackson brothers, who recently reunited onstage for a series of concerts, gathered at West Hollywood's Bar Marmont on October 29 to sign the jackets. Prince Jackson, who has previously stayed away from commercial endorsements, joined them at the event, but he did not autograph the jackets.

Prince Jackson was not involved in the lawsuit since he was not part of the marketing agreement. It was not disclosed how much he was to be paid to attend and pose with the jackets.

Michael Jackson debuted the red "Beat It" and red and black "Thriller" jackets, designed by Marc Laurent, in 1983. The Jackson brothers signed 500 of each jacket, which are still on sale for $2,350.

The bros created the jackets as a tribute to mj and his fans ! how is them signing jackets and getting paid 100k a tribute to mj and us! do they think we came down in the last shower. do they actually believe their own crap.or are they just taking the piss out of us like prince was paid a dime to promote this crap. he prob got a free jacket!.
