love that award ceremony. He is so cute, and shy lurking behind his brothers. And then when he starts to speak - "I don't like that angel, I like this angel". I feel like saying - Michael let us worry about the angels, you just keep talking and looking adorable ;)

I know!!! I love him so much in that whole ceremony. I think I will never get over how adorable me his shyness is for me. It’s just baffling how someone so powerful and beastly as a performer can be so self conscious and soft spoken. I love watching all of his award show appearances and acceptances over and over because I can’t help how much it makes me fall in love with him lol
 
The entire Come Together video is the stuff my actual dreams are made of. He is the hottest thing on the planet!!

Though, for real, HIStory era Michael is creeping in on my Bad/Dangerous era obsession and I’m not complaining…

That video is indeed something. The hip movements, the belt and ripped shirt! There is so much packed into one video.
That one and Give into me with all that dark black theme.

I am experiencing that with Bad era Michael now. I am absolutely obsessed with Dangerous era, but Bad era is creeping up so fast, its feels like cheating!

I don't have that particular picture, but he's wearing the same jacket as he is in the 2300 Jackson street video (which is where the picture Hiker posted is from)

THE HIP MOVEMENTS. The belt just enhances them, which I'm pretty sure is the whole point of the giant belts during the Bad era. To emphasize all the thrusting from far away lol. His swagger and confidence is on another level in the Come Together video. To me, he is just pure, unadulterated sex in that video. It's too much. I feel similarly about the Dirty Diana one. He is on FIRE in it.

He's also insaaaaaanely hot in the Give into Me video, but I haven't spent as much time with it haha. But I love that song and his entire look in it is beyond sexy.

I could wax poetic on Bad era Michael for the rest of my life and it would not be enough time to say everything I feel in my heart lol. His beauty and charisma is Godly and he's just dripping with sexuality.

BUT he is truly spectacular in all of the eras we are discussing and maybe, like you, I feel like I'm cheating on other versions of Michael when I obsess too hard about one lol. But it's not a lack of appreciation for the others! I think because his career was so long and he evolved and changed so much over the course of it, it sometimes feels like multiple people which is what makes it feel like cheating haha. But that's why I love when I can see how consistent he truly was, which is mostly evident in watching his performances.

I've been fantasizing about the concert we watched the other day because, while I always (of course) thought he was hot during the HIStory era, I never felt it in a visceral way until watching that full show.

Good point about the giant belts, I guess that was the era of hip thrusts more than crotch grabbing. Speaking of Dirty Diana, forget the hip thrusts, I die just in the very beginning at chest pops (don't know what else to call that move) and then head bang, and then towards the end toe stand with body roll! Can't believe that is humanly possible. So much energy - thanks 'Diana' for making him so mad :LOL:

There is so much content out there about HIStory era and specifically gold pants, I think for being-sex-on-stage, it was the peak.

The hip thrusts might excite me more than the crotch-grabbing, honestly. So maybe that's part of my obsession with the Bad era. AND YES! The chest pops DESTROY me and then the toe stand with the body rolll.....omg, I'm so glad you said that because I watch reaction videos and no one reacts as strongly as I do to that lol. I absolutely cannot believe it is humanly possible to do what he does on stage, in general.

Oh, I know that HIStory era is probably the most sexualized by fans across the board, which I definitely understand. But I still think Bad era to me is the sexiest there is. But maybe that will change over time. Let all the Michael's battle it out for the title of sexiest era - I am not complaining at all lol.

I need to spend some more time with Hip thrusts from Bad era to properly appreciate them ;)
I think he makes those spins, toe stand and body rolls look so effortless that it probably takes a dancer to appreciate the complexity and intricacies of those movements.

In all fairness, HIStory also has best online coverage that makes the footage more accessible, and you cannot not appreciate the statement made by gold pants. I don't think any high quality footage of Bad concert exists online due to technical limitations.

haa haa, at this point I don't think Gaz would mind. There are no 13 years olds active here anymore. But, yeah, we need to try harder to keep it clean :)

OH yes! If you spend as much time with Bad era Michael as I do, you will learn to deeply appreciate them in an unmanageable way lol.

That's probably true! I am about the furthest thing imaginable from a dancer, but I do feel I really appreciate the way he moves and I never stop having my mind blown by it. I don't understand on a technical level anything he is doing, but I am completely mesmerized by not just the physicality of what he is doing, but the emotion he brings to it. I've said this somewhere, but I never really paid much attention to dancing (partially because I've never been a fan of pop music before him, and that's the main genre you see it). But seeing a short of him dancing really affected me and I didn't understand why. His dancing is overwhelming.

That is a REALLY good point. I hadn't thought about that! I do hope we get higher quality of all of these concerts at some point. I feel like if fans can enhance the quality of Bad footage to 8k (which I have seen and its incredible) the estate should be able to, you know?

LOL that's probably true!! Honestly, though, these conversations are the whole reason I joined the community (though I love all the conversations about Michael, of course). It's just soooo hard to keep it clean when it comes to him! :ROFLMAO:
