That carries into Dangerous for me, but obviously shifts a lot soon after :( That's why Bad and Dangerous are my favorite eras. He's a grown man and so hot and happy. It's after he's come into his own, but before things start to turn. Obviously he remained sexy and beautiful after 93 and still is an incredible artist and performer. But that little spark isn't always there and that hurts a bit.

That is another thing that makes me connect with Michael. 20s / early 30s are so full of hope and spark for life, anything is possible. Which changes rapidly as you get older. He did his work with so much passion that it is clear in the songs and albums. The performance and music got more versatile and relatable after bad as oppose to very dreamy before that.
 
I’m sure there is a fan art thread, but I’m not an artist and feel too self conscious to share this stuff in that thread. However! I have been getting back into drawing lately, having not drawn regularly in like…umm… 18 years? And this is my attempt at MJ! I started with the dangerous cover art and quickly got frustrated with my inability to capture his beautiful eyes. And so I transitioned to a portrait of

Oh he absolutely is lol, believe me being kind of a perfectionist it’s a pain but so worth the time! Oh yes I’ll find it! :D

Oh thank you so much!!! I am really proud of these, especially for a first attempt at capturing him in a drawing! I want to keep trying because he is sooo beautiful, I just want to do him justice :)

Oh girl I found the thread for the drawings, it's been ages since it's been bumped I found one of my drawings lol :ROFLMAO: I'm contemplating on a new sketch but I'm trying to decide lol

Oh fantastic!! I have actually drawn two more portraits of him since then haha. I am very torn on them though because they don't capture his spirit. He's just sooooo fucking beautiful and it deeply frustrates me that I don't feel like they represent him enough. But the process of drawing them is glorious :love: It sounds like we are both perfectionists, but maybe we should reawaken the thread together? lol

And idk what it is about that photo of Michael, but it makes me weak in the knees. And I can't even see his face! The power of this man.

DEAR GOD. I am sitting here trying to pick a favorite picture, but I don't even know my name anymore, so I can't even begin to try. Bless you, Hiker. You have brought me life on this day...

But also, can we talk about that smile in the middle row, all the way to the right? Holy mother of God. I love every single part of him.

Also, he has the sexiest hair imaginable in this whole era. I cannot fucking deal with the curls. I just want to scream forever lol.

I feel like I am cheating on Dangerous era Michael with Bad era Michael! But how can someone make duck face look sexy! Look at the one right in the middle, the face, the pose!
Last row 4th picture, you know what he is going to do next!
