lol i posted it :) and yep 2nd year of high school.. start serious examinations next year :bugeyed have to actually study and do my homework

So, how many weeks break to you get for summer? I bet not nearly as long as we get in states haha :rofl: We get from like the end of the first week of June through until the end of August ;)

6 or 7??? Wow! I thought you sounded REALLY young haha. It was way too cute. When is installment 2??? :p

well it's summer break now for me. so from last firday through to the 8th of Feb or something... so yea the states get more :(

lol idk i'll have to find something worth sharing. a snippet form one of my favorite books at them time maybe :lol:

Everytime I tell people here how long the summer vaca is in the US they are like........ WHAT! Then I tell them we never had to wear uniforms and they totally freak out LOL! I'm such a stirrer.... I know it.... :shifty:
It's still a good sized break you all get though!!!

Yeah, all I know is it was too cool! :p

no uniforms!?! i hate our uniform, tucking your shirt in is very uncool... thank god we're getting a new one next year that you don't need to tuck in (even though no1 really did it anyway but the teachers cant moan at us for having it out all the time anymore :D)
 
well the old one was a white shirt, green shorts (or grey pants but i never wore them) stupid long socks that go up to your knees and black leather shoes. Then they have a school jacket, and blazer and P.E. uniform and you wear them when ya need 2... umm the new shirt is a light grey i think, havn't seen it in person
and yea we have mufti days, like 3 a year lol

I can only imagine what the DRESSES are like........ :mello: Do girls have to wear dresses or can they wear slacks?

I think I've worn a dress/skirt maybe ten times since I was a CHILD lol. Wow... I dunno what to think about that.... It's so relaxed in the States... it's hard to get my head around. :mello:
 
:lol: i've always had a uniform though so you sort of get used to it. I'd find it weird if they decided we we're having mufti everyday for a year, it's just not what they do here
 
lol yea i'd have to go shopping i only have like 3 different shirts and a couple of pairs of jeans :p
 
low 30s is so TOO hot!! it was raining yesterday but it's quite nice today i'd say we're around 18 degrees atm

What region are you from over there? My friend's husband is from the middle of the north island... around Hastings or so.... so now she's asking lol. :p

well i consider Otago home coz i was born down there and go down there all the time but i live in Canterbury now/Christchurch
