Official MTV Video Awards Thread [Janet Jackson, Trailer, Spoliers Here]

We guys are special! We are Michael Jackson fans! None of the artist on that stage will never have the same love and support! And no one will never ever be like Michael Jackson!

Seeing all these sneak peaks is making me really miss Michael badly. Also seeing the lack of quality in the music industry now is making me miss Michael!

This sucks so bad! Why did this have to happen!!
 
Maybe it's just me, but everything that has to do with MTV now days makes me feel ill.
And I don't mean "ill" like I just "dislike" it, I mean ill like I'm holding back from throwing up.
Everytime I see anything that has to do with Miley, Taylor, Hills, Sweet 16 or any of those young bastards I feel like I'm closer and closer to throwing up.
Is this what today's youth look up to?!

They don't even air music videos longer on Music Video Television
 
Does anyone find it cool how sometimes Janet and Madonna fans try to say ones better than the other and they both came together and did great in honoring MJ.
 
Wow. i'm surprised at some of yall hatin on some of the artists like Beyonce? The girl did good. So did Taylor Swift in her performance. I guess i'm just a natural music lover of all things, and I appreciate all music, no matter how fabricated, over-produced, or stolen it is. Not everyone can thank michael after their performances either...i mean c'mon...
 
I was touched by madonna's speech, it sounded like she wanted to get to know him and kinda actually did, but their relationship fell apart...Then janet came on and i was like yeah!! she's doin scream one of my faves! and then it hit me...when she started doing her dance moves on stage, and michael was doing them on screen, it was like he shoulda been there on stage doing that with her. o god...that moment felt so wierd for me. it was like my eyes were looking for him i thot he was gonna appear any moment...but he didnt =( and then at the end janet looked like she was gonna break down. poor baby
 
wow I just saw Madonna's speech and I have to say all tho it was beautiful and from the heart it just made me mad at this damn world we live in I mean why did Micheal have to die for ppl to say stuff like that?
he really needed that when he was alive :cry:

Wow, MTV sure is giving out awards to people I would've never thought had a chance in winning the award(except for T.I.).
