Oh now I am worried. I don't know who my poor Opus is traveling with, so I don't know who he is making friends with LOL!!! :lol: I wonder what about my Opus. I really would like to know. I mean.. no news in almost a month is a little bit too much. Why can't they even ask me to wait? Simply no answer!!!!

What is wrong with this??????
 
I got my Opus on December 23rd. I cried and cried when I realized what it was I was holding in my hands. It took me a while to stop crying before I could even open it. I felt like it was my personal gift from Michael himself. (I told my family it was a gift from the forum because I didn't want them to know how much I paid for it). It is supposed to be a coffee table book but the only place I can store it is UNDER the coffee table!! (still in the box of course). I was wondering about the data card when I saw it wasn't in the box but I wasn't worried. I didn't get any of the emails regarding the delays because they all went to my former work e-mail address and I stopped working and getting those on October 31st. I knew I could depend on you guys to let me know the details of what was going on with this. That is one of the most important parts of the book!!! I look forward to getting that exciting piece of technology.

Sometimes, my 40 year old nephew, who is not an avid MJ fan like us, lets me know that he has spent time on YouTube watching Michael's videos or reading some interesting articles about him. He told me over the holidays that he has been reading about some of the things people have been saying about Michael and how he did not take his title as King of Pop lightly. There have been discussions about how MJ took the power he had to fight for the rights of all musicians with the record companies and how he influenced the communities in ways we could not even see. His political power was a quietly kept secret but those such as Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton saw how Michael's use of his power affected the communities they were working in. My nephew said the discussions were about how Michael's convictions and intentions spread throughout the community as Michael intended it to. His underlying messages were received loud and clear by those who needed to hear them. We are just now learning how deep and political Michael really was! My nephew has become a ghost fan of MJ's, hiding under the radar. Who know, maybe someday, he will come out of the closet and join the rest of us in MJland. :ph34r:
 
I'm from Mexico, I bought my OPUS September 28th and I've got nothing, no email, no call nothing I have no idea if my Opus is on its way or when it is going to happen :'(

Am I the only one in this situation?

no you are not the only one!! I keep checking my email..for the tracking number, but still nothing! :( :( have no idea when Im going to get my opus..

awww, so saad :'( I saw that you hadn't got any answer to your emails as well as many others... I emailed them too

Honestly, if I could post this off to one of you I would! (I think it would have to be PCR though ;) )



BTW, for others that have theirs, is anyone else shocked at how little there is from This Is It? Only 1 picture? And theres a million from Scream video shoot (which is awesome!) but very few from other video shoots?! :O
 
I still haven't got mine yet. A delivery was attempted on the 24th but I was at work. Fedex tried to redeliver last week and left it with a neighbour. However they failed to tell me who it was left with! I rang them up and they suggested I just knocked on ppl's doors to ask. Haven't managed to find it yet and with the holiday season and all, some ppl are away. It's getting rather frustrating - someone has my Opus and I don't know who it is.

My goodness! What's up with them sending our Opusses all around the world? It doesn't make sense!! :bugeyed

Seriously, what a way to get them damaged. Just ship them off to the country they're supposed to be in and be done with it. :doh:

May I suggest something? Don't give up the idea so soon. You'd better wait and see. Let's see what happens during January. Ideally we all should have our book by mid January so then I think that would be a good time for you to take a decition. But don't give it up for now. Who knows... things must get better. We paid for these, so they have to send the books. These are not gifts.

And again, I know I hate this wait, but I trust as soon as I get the book, I will love it and forget the long wait :) I trust this could also be the case for you.

This has been one of the craziest wait of my life. And not that I am that old, but... c'mon, we already have tales to make our own book about this. "Opus... the missing book" or "Walking around Paris", by a group of fellow "Opuses".

Well... who knows. Maybe they have "Male Opus" and "Female Opus" and you got two because after all the time they spent in Paris, they just fell in love and Kraken decided to let them live their love...

Ok... it's official: I AM OPUS SICK!!

They don't even mention "the rest of the world" in their updates :(

Well... no news about my Opus, delivery, nothing.
I hope tomorrow will be a better day for Funny Kraken and their mates at FedEx.

Has anyone who has ordered this from Australia received any information as to when it will be arriving? I'm in Canberra and am getting a little frustrated at the fact it's early January and delivery was advertised as late December - in time for Christmas.
 
Mine just came in aswell (Netherlands). It is actually quite absurd considering it was in Germany last night. But it is right here, and it is so damn big, I dont even know what to do with it right now.
 
good thing is that my tracking page tells me it's in Europe already!!
but i don't understand why it's traveling 'around' my country....? why isn't the book just send from england straight to brussels? no instead it's touring around from uk to paris, having a small stop in frankfurt, ... i wonder where it's going next, Amsterdam? that would be a complete circle around my country... sigh... this nutso is going freako
 
woohh my opus is on fed ex vehicle for delivery:):) that was around 5:30 in the morning, now it´s 10:20...i am waiting:):)
