I've never owned a book that heavy. Where do you put such a thing :eek:
I still haven't decided whether I want it or not...

and everyone thinks the book is expensive.

List of things must get before book arrives;

Sturdy coffee table.
glass case to cover coffee table
tasteful lighting
security alarms
bodyguards
cctv around home
Indiana Jones interior decorator
Fake Opus book, just to put them off scent
guard dogs
need to give up job so can watch book 24/7 as do not trust cctv or bodyguards

Omg that is alot hun,wow,u know wat i am worried about there have been 2 burgerlys round my area and im so worried i will get burgeled again,got burgled 2001 lost everything,im looking at getting some kind of alarm ,even though i dont go out much the burglers have been going into houses were ppl have been in there scary stuff,no one will get my opus book grrrrrr x

Sorry for my confusion, but do you have to pay it when pre-booking or do you pay it afterwards when the book is delivered?

Seems like the ultimate MJ book. I wonder if there are pesonal writings from MJ himself in it?

Ticketmaster quotes it will be debited RIGHT NOW, so not when the book is shipped/delivered!

LOL - Please stop making me laugh! I am being told to shut up here because I keep interrupting the TV viewing by sniggering!

Better still - we could take photos! I hope it arrives in perfect condition - I have been know to take some of my books back because I have found the minutest of creases or curls on the covers! lol I may insure it too. In fact, i definitely will. After all, I've had to remortgage the bloody house to buy it!

Yeah the money came out an hour after I had paid!

I know I don't know what to do.. and since Thriller Live is coming to Finland I have to keep money for that, too.. and ouch this is just such a bad time of year for me to the book to come out..

I was told over the phone the special price would be until 30th September, I called on the day the book was announced.

Nevertheless, I'm glad I ordered one already, if it is true that the special price is extended to 30th October I may buy another.

My post above is an email I received from Opus themselves. I sent them an email with the questions and the points are their answers.

Ha ha, definitely!

I want it too but it's the worst time ever... and after that 300 something? That's crazy. Maybe they're hyping the preorder thing to get more ppl interested but won't raise the price? One can dream LOL.

I already told my hubby I want it for Christmas but we can't really afford it...:doh:

I just pre-ordered it. It is pricey for me but since I will be getting hold of it in Dec, I just consider this as an expensive x'mas present for myself.
