It was a rare public appearance for reclusive Michael Jackson tonight (SAT), in the middle of 18,000 Ultimate Fighting Championship fans at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
“You don’t normally see him at an event like this,” I was told. “Then for him to put himself in the middle of a crowded arena is really unusual.”
It was an all-star turnout for the UFC showdowns, with retired porn queen Jenna Jameson rooting for boyfriend Tito Ortiz alongside Celebrity Apprentice host Donald Trump and Donald Trump Jr. Also there Shaquille O’Neal, Mandy Moore, Laura Prepon, and Jamie Pressley.
All the attention though was focused on the pop-music king. With a new single coming out mid-June Michael is expected to be seen out and about more often at upcoming public events, I was informed

just to clarify that is an old picture of MJ w/ Robin Leach when MJ had that meeting w/ Simon Fuller back in 06/07.

Seems like MJ is getting out lately. I wonder if there will be any news and pictures from this outing. :) Was it shown on television?

I wonder if Michael really does have a single coming out mid-next month? As far as I know, I only recall Michael ever being at one other combat sporting event, and that was a Sugar Ray Lenord fight back in the late 80s I think.

For MJ to stay out of the public eye for so many months and to now come back with two major appearances in two nights, SOMETHING IS UP!

I wouldn't be surprised if some kind of announcement is released soon.

Oye! I don't think it would be good for MJ to appear on WWE! LOL

Sometimes they get the special guests to take some hits or body slams from one of the professional wrestlers. Of course it is scripted, but alot of those hits and body slams are very real.

Who else think that mJ is byepassing the media for hs promotion and doing public appearances instead. That way, he doesn't have to speak to any of them but he still get reported on.

I meant at ringside not in the ring and if MJ did appear on WWE TV he would never take a bump!

It could be. Its been twice that Robin Leach has mentioned it in his blog but I still have a feeling that its the Wanna Be Startin' Something 08. I would love to be proved wrong though :).

Well, if there would be a new new single, then why would they wanna release WBBS 08 as well? New MJ singles usually are released worldwide... so it wouldn't make sense to release a 25 year old song as well... and therefore it doesn't make sense at all to expect a new new single in june... except if he indeed is done with Sony!
