Apparantly in Las Vegas celebrities have some kind of haven from paparazzi, and an understanding. I read it on this board somewhere. So I don't think Mike is doing anything more than usual, he is just in a different PLACE - Los Angeles is downright full of paparazzi following stars everywhere they go. Michael's just trying to live a normal life. Gosh paparazzi stink.

And contrary to that report, I don't think he is necessarily being any more shy than usual, however he IS with his little boy, and the sun IS shining very brightly, hence the umbrella and the shielding to protect his face, and Blanket's scarf.

it's not really an understanding, they can't film or take pics in the casinos so unless he's doing shopping there, and it's captured by fans, u won't see him strolling in vegas.

It is somewhat depressing that Blankets face is covered again with the scarf. With so many times going out in public without masks, it's a shame that he decided to hide his kid again. I was hoping by now that he felt comfortable enough to let them decide, so hopefully it was blankets decision. On a brighter note, Michael looks great and it is great to see him out and about so much…

Unless it is a movie premiere or some other type of celebrity outlet, there just aren't any paps in vegas...or if they are around, they are very low key. We don't have that chase thru the streets, traffic jam, cameras everywhere type of experience that parts of LA seem to have. During this trip, the media is hanging out where he is staying, when he leaves, so do they - and the chase is off.

The Vegas house had media around his birthday, but they disappeared or faded away. I haven't heard of any car chases involving MJ and the media in Vegas...or any celebrity and the media. For some reason, it just doesn't happen.

MJ's visits...media cover following and it's 2 times in 2 weeks!! I really wanna know if he or she named the store after the album or not:)

MJ's looking great! It's nice to see one of those nice red shirts :). And it's so cute how Blanket seems like a little carbon copy of his father - at least style-wise.

This is a really good theory. I think you're right & can't help but wonder the same. Granted, these outings could just as easily be a bunch of shopping trips, but they certainly are putting back him in the public eye too... Maybe they just serve as a reminder that he's still alive & well. I'm thinking they also serve as well-deserved breaks from recording too :happy:. In any case, I'm excited to see what this PR team comes up with.
