"In November, 1994, I spent 2 weeks with Michael and Lisa Marie at the
Trump Towers in New York. I was there to work on 2 projects for Michael
while he was in the recording studio. Michael and Lisa Marie were great
together and a lot of fun to be with.
In 1995 Michael asked me to do a painting of the 2 of them. Not one to
do a normal portrait, he came up with a creative vision of how he wanted
to portray their love for each other. Michael gave me a list of things
he would like to see in the painting. I made a sketch and sent the
original to him. He called me when he received it. He said he loved it
and not to change a thing except to make the castle more "fanciful". At
this time, I was working on 3 or 4 projects for Michael. I asked if I
should set aside these projects in favor of this painting. Michael told
me to finish what I was working on and to do the painting afterwards.
Sadly, by the time I got around to this painting, Michael and Lisa Marie had separated."

Aww that is indeed sad. Thanks for sharing this.
I really like the painting but to me she doesn't look like Lisa Marie.

aahhhh, the irony :mello:

Michael was really such a romantic!!:wub::wub:

Michael ..what a romantic guy........LisaMarie should be given that picture...she would probably kick herself in the head, See that's the problem with some people they don't realize what they got..till its gone..

she doesn't want that picture.. she wanted nothing to do with MJ.. she was embarrassed by him. If she had it she would burn it.

Its' Beautiful!!!!

Aw. It's so sweet how it was his idea. How romantic.

On a related topic, I notice that the auction is going to start at xx hrs 'Greenwich Mountain Time' (Europe).

I know there is quite a big hill at Greenwich, but I think this is stretching it bit (LOL).

I am praying for someone to photoshop my face and
exchange it for Lisa Marie Presley's face.

Well, she can buy it, and then burn it. :D But she is not like that. I like Lisa.

People have their own thoughts on whether Michael's love was real or not for Lisa, but seeing this further confirms what I always thought....he did truly love her.

thanks! I can finally see more detail to this. I love this painting, lucky is the one who gets it :)
I didn't know it is up for auction, wow..
Mr. Nordahl published this piece few months ago on mjart site and in the comments later he also said:
''Thank you everyone for your kind words regarding the painting "CAMELOT". Michael's detractors (fueled by the media) would have you believe theirs was a marriage of convenience, but I can tell you that was absolutely not the case. They were a wonderful couple and it seemed they were meant for each other. I know Michael loved her very much because he told me so. ''

sweet
