It will get the "people are tired of Michael so no one went to the tribute" press. Stereoboard will probably write a good report on it though.

thats not true.it will be that the fans didn't support it because they felt that it wasn't an appropriate time for a tribute concert in the middle of Murray's murder trial. This has gotten ALOT of coverage by the press for the reason that it is....NO need for them to make stuff up. Lets be real now. jeez

So the concert will be shown in cinemas too???? Omg it will be mega flop ! Ya'll just watch when ppl find out what this tribute concert REALLY IS they will not go and see it

Leona, 26, tells day & night: “michael was such a huge inspiration, he was the king of pop and i’m truly honoured to be playing in this tribute to him.”

she will be performing alongside christina aguilera, cee lo green, smokey robinson and jls at the millennium stadium in cardiff on october 8.

Since they're planning to go on with this, I guess it will be the fans who have the last laugh at their embarrassing half empty stadium. If tickets continue to sell as badly as they are that is.

Considering the press reports have been the total opposite so far i doubt that will be the case.

I agree. The media have talked enough of the collective letter from fan groups to know we're defending Michael and not forgetting him. On the other hand, I dont think they'll refrain from making fun of the family.


Re- Jackons brothers, of course they're thrilled to perform. They're paid for it.

O snap... how did I forget already that Jermaine will not be part of this!? lol Oops! It's that he has the book out while the trials about to start and then u have this tribute when the trial actaully starts that to me is just all the same, inappropriate timing! Can't even keep up anymore...

The fact they had to slash the ticket prices in half a couple of weeks ago, and a few days ago took out a full-page ad in a uk newspaper, suggests the figure ain't anywhere close to 75,000!

They will need to sell the 'videolink' and other distribution rights (eg dvd) to help cover their costs...the UK newspaper advertising alone will probably have cost them well over £50k....looking at the rates these papers ( metro and Daily Mail) charge. Otherwise paying for advertising is just throwing good money after bad..
