Tbh like i care about these ppl not being paid. u play with fire you get burnt. whole thing was a money making scam from the get go imo. and it was prob a plan to go bust so they could do a runner with whatever money they made

she was a family supporter and apparently if you tweet about GLE you make family look bad. A more rational person would have cared about the people that has not paid.

If the people don't get paid it's their own fault for joining this mess so I really don't care. We warned them at the time this was going to be a disaster and no one should get involved if they can avoid it. They should have listened to us.

Ester GillT-Pleasure Gill It's disgusting that not one person who worked on the concert got paid! A total scam and a real shame to end on! I worked hard on this show and then got told the promoter had not paid any bills at all and went bankrupt over night. What a Scam!! The Promoter should be ashamed of himself for ripping off hard working crew!

Can someone please forward these to Taj & co? How much do you want to bet they got they appearance fees weeks ago, while the workers are begging for their dues?

I hope MJ's name won't get dragged into this mess.

^^ Thanks for the article. Don't think mj fans (at least those who didn't support the tribute) should get involved in retweeting etc this info (except to taj and latoya, fyi purposes!). Don't wish to be harsh but it should have been clear to everyone involved on it that the tribute concert was dodgy. Global live was set up specifically for the event and now is gone - a quick cash and grab. As usual, if this news reaches the msm, it will be mj's name who will be associated with this debacle - not latoyas, not global live, not Mrs J - but MJ.

Sorry I do not feel sorry for these people. We warned them for weeks. The media picked up the story. We told them that the family do not have a good history in making concerts and deals. They chose not to listen. If there was no warnings about this event, then I would feel sorry for them, but they had too many warnings. I suggest they report this to the appropriate authorities in their country. Better yet, sue the Jackson that were part of the event with GLE.

too late. Not only was I one of those retweeting Pisani's tweets, but I tweeted Stereoboard about it.

GLE & Jacksons were arrogant and dismissive of our complaints, time to face the music.

And at the same time, if we can help these poor workers get paid...the better.

She should get Latoya's company Ja-Fail, oops, Tail, to pay. It was Latoya who brought this mess to them, but it isn't entirely her fault. If her family wasn't so greedy they would have seen common sense over dollar signs.
