You know what I was thinking what if maybe just maybe Blanket wanted to go on stage thought he could handle it just like his brother and sister and then when he got on stage he got scared cause he looked ok in rehearsals

Bored yes perhaps but then again at that age I can't remember myself being able to focus for a long time and I can't imagine that the rehearsals were short. It was just a sudden change of emotions from him that's why I was thinking of other possibilities besides the Jackson's forcing him up there. Especially since I myself remember wanting to do what the older kids did when I was Blanket's age.

Blanket looks VERY VERY sad.it is breaking my heart. Michael would of protected that child from this. I agree with the poster that said that it is ok for Prince and Paris to be up there,,,,from what I am seeing from those pictures....that child is either 1 afraid of being up there,,,or 2. He is truly feeling that pain of Missing his father, Who knows could be both, They need to stop trying to coax him into these things, Also I agree with maybe he thought he could handle it because Prince and Paris was doing it, Hell I dont know....the child just looks miserable.

Kids want to do all kinds of things that might not be good for them. That's why they have guardians to look out for their best interest and set boundaries. Unfortunately, with these kids, the guardians seem to care more about $ than the children's well-being.

The kids attending 'the immortal world tour' was hunky-dory. It was all about how cute the kids are, MJ would be so proud. No concern about missing school, posing for photos, inter-acting with the media.

Few days later at the MJ forever concert, the bitching and moaning, dime store psychology starts anew.

did YOU see Blanket crying at the IWOT ,,,,NO,....so please...lets NOT start that here. The kid IS miserable THAT is obvious. A person would have to be blind NOT to see that

We do have to be careful to start condemning for condemning sake but there are some marked differences between the two appearances:

[1] the children were not required to be on stage at the Immortal premiere (at the cost of $100,000 US)

[2] they were not wearing accessories designed by their grandfather in a blantant attempt to drum up sales

In other words for the Immortal premiere they could honour their father and enjoy the experience of others honouring their father, while for Michael Forever their appearance was of financial benefit to both Joe and Katherine Jackson.

That photo utterly broke my heart. Is there really ANY doubt about what Michael wanted for his children? REALLY? Not gonna try to explain THIS one away. He's CRYING. His eyes seem to have the same depth, and same pain, as Michael's. At least, that's what I see there. . . . .

Well what teen doesn't like the spotlight? Plus her dad was/is MJ they were singing his song so I'd imagine she'd be singing along with her aunt uncles and even her brother.

I agree with you! Blanket didn't look happy on the red carpet at Immortal either, but no one complained about that.

Well, I didn't know they attended, haven't seen those pictures and don't know what exactly went on (haven't really had the time to catch up on anything due to following the trial), but I would think it's quite different to go watch a show than to be a part of the show.

Should we be all happy-happy-joy-joy about seeing Blanket on that stage in tears?

No. But should we make assumptions and cry "poor Blanket"? Don't think so. Next snapshot with Ne-Yo - he is laughing. I hate to go personal, but I can say this: knowing what is it to lose the only parent at age nine, I probably would cry too if I see the sea of people who came to honour my parent...
Note: I do know how old Blanket was in 2009. I was nine when I lost my parent.

Seeing that photo of him crying just made me even more angry at Murray since none of this would be happening if it weren't for him!

Does anyone know what Blanket said? That picture of him broke my heart. Though I don't know if he is crying due to hearing kind words about his dad and then becoming emotional, or because he is upset that he is on stage. I saw the picture of him speaking and I wonder to if the reminder that he is speaking about his father in past tense maybe saddened him... Just curious...

That's what I'm thinking which is why I'm going to wait to see a vid of this before putting the blame on anyone. In the meantime I'm dealing with some haters on another board calling out Prince and Paris.

What are they saying about Prince and Paris? People have no shame. I mean these are kids, they don't deserve to be ridiculed, bullied, insulted just because of who their father was. Michael knew what he was doing about protecting them as much as he could. I just hope that all three of them can weather the storms and find peace in their lives after they are on their own.
