I just think if you've heard the album (even once) you would be able to share more details than that.

agree with you... but i was concentrated to the sound and songs, and i didn't take notes, just thinking the good music always arrive and impress me ... with headphones, without them, using hi-tones or basses... trying everything to listen carefully. And I did for more than a hour.

Surely you must be able to place some kind of time frame on songs like HT and Best of Joy.

The first minute of hearing DYKWYCA I could tell it's late 80's/early 90's, just based on the vocals alone.

It's really quite easy to do, unless of course you haven't really heard the songs.

Ele is working with Sony directly for promotional purposes in their market.

She's given us plenty of credible information including tracklist, credits, and the day of the announcement before anyone else could.

Again, in Eleonora's defense, I am similar in that I don't 'over analyse' the music - especially when listening to it for the first time. I just 'feel' the music and decide if I like it.

Already answered to this. Already said that *to me" recent material means the last few years.... so, no, Best Of Joy is not recent.... it remind me some work on Destiny album... i don't really like it, but it's my opinion. It's a song all in falsetto... and really... Michael's voice is always ok, but i was not impressed at all by BOJ.

HT is really a good song. Not recent at all in my opinion... that doesn't mean someone worked on it yeaterday to be perfect for the album. And I don't really care when has been recorded. Good songs have no time. Once again.... i consider "recent" material HMH and Another Day.

Ele74 will not guess or make assumptions without telling us and I'm sure Ele74 will not lie.
There is no reason to doubt Ele74 at all IMO.

so the person who wrote that review has heard the album. Have journalists been allowed to hear it? If so, why don't we have more reviews out now before the album is released?? I would think good reviews will help sell the album and boost pre-orders.

yes. Journalists having or will have in the next few days. I'll be in studio with all of them next Dec 3. So... i suppose every country will do the same during these days...

December 3rd, that's my birthday! :)

So I guess we will be seeing proper reviews soon after! Would be great to go to a studio and listen to the songs in full professional quality.

I'm a bit disappointed there isn't as many recent recordings as I expected (at least it seems so). But anyway I'm happy that we are at least getting the album and can't wait to buy it! :)

It's like...one day I'm over the moon for this album, and the next day, I'm like...meh...I still want it, but the excitement keeps getting sucked out of me.....I am looking forward to hearing it, of course...But, man, sometimes, this really blows...lol

It's like...one day I'm over the moon for this album, and the next day, I'm like...meh...I still want it, but the excitement keeps getting sucked out of me.....I am looking forward to hearing it, of course...But, man, sometimes, this really blows...lol

don't worry... there're some really good songs on it.
Hold My Hand, Hollywood tonight and the church intro and rhythm, 100% jackson' style.... Behind The Mask... the "Dire Straits style live" (yes its reminds me a Dire Straits intro), some retro' and new style inside the same song... you'll love Another Day of course, keeping in mind that it's a Lenny song, not Michael. Lenny' sound/touch is cristal clear. Michael's voice is beautiful, just maybe too short. You listened the song on the net, double the verse and you'll have the song... but it's brillian. The Way You Love Me... hearing Michael' speech will fell in love all the girls, as I said, i'll be no surprised if one of the singles. The album life is right now expected in 1 year...... that's means 4 great single. And we have them here. And you know Much Too Soon..... so.... i think it's worth the wait. And the stress...

Does this mean the album will get promoted with singles released right up to the end of (or close to the end of) 2011? Do you know what the next project is?

This is the first intention, at the same time everybody are aware that we're speaking of a record without Michael... so.... the first problem i think will be have something on video to support the releases.

If you're talking about new record/s, no. Everybody around the world is focused on MICHAEL right now.

Thanks, Ele, I appreciate it....Like, I said, I'm still excited, but it's been such a roller coaster of emotions with all the vocal controversy and what not....But thanks for the support! :flowers:
 
elenora you wouldn't happen to know if the rumors are indeed true about a Bad Tour in Wembley dvd being planned for either 2011 or 2012?

are you asking if a Bad Tour dvd will be out soon? No. I do not know nothing about that. Now it's MICHAEL's time. When T25 came out, we announced special editions of Bad and Off The Wall anniversaries.... We're still waiting for these... so... if you hear/read something with too much anticipation, expecially on the net, it's just speculation or an "idea".... often reality is different....

no no... we're not talking about the "commercial package" cd. Record companies worldwide received mastered cd with mp3 files of the album during the last week end. So, the quality that you can hear is not best/final for sure. I don't know if journalists will hear the same record, but I suppose it will be the same.

Forgot to say, they're planning some kind of "event" in Time Square (NY) for the dayOne, still not confirmed but i'm confident.... here we're working on a viral internet campaign (i don't know if it will be everywhere) based on the concept that "Michael is inside his fans, Michael is one of us" and with every fan saying on camera "I'm Michael". Don't know if it will be a worldwide campaign through michaeljackson.com or not... today i just saw the non-definitive teaser.... make me cry, i like the concept. 'Cause Michael is really inside everyone of us.

ahhaha.... it's probably a good song.... but not one of my fav. I was attracted by the title of the song... but for me it didn't maintained my expectations. And just after the first verses it reminds me the album Destiny or some kind of "Destiny" style. For me the song could fit perfectly for that album. It's probably not a song you'll remember i think, compared to the others. Of course just my opinion.

Sounds really good so far, I like this kind of marketing approach for the new album: from a strategic point of view Sony is moving in the right direction.
I'm just wandering if plans for an extended version of MICHAEL are still on the way as I truly feel that this whole project could really go on if at least 4 new songs sometimes in 5 months are released. Could it be that Sony and the Estate are just saving some great stuff. I'd love to see the Will I. Am. tracks finally out and on the radio.
Do you know anything concrete about the whole Will situation?

Is the promotion for "Michael" something you never saw before or is it just normal promoting?Do we see something special as a promotion?

BTW: I LIKE the idea of "I'm MICHAEL!!"
