Michael will never know what is in this album
He didn't approve anything on it when he was alive !
Somebody else sings with him on some tracks to complete his vocals
Some works has been done on his songs after his death

and you call it a "michael jackson album" ?

I agree with you about some tracks, MJ would definitively not aprove them to be on the album. But you are wrong about Behind The Mask, Much Too Soon - That tracks were finished and ready for release on Thriller but they didn't make the final cut. Another Day and Hold My Hand were also finished and aproved by Michael but the final mix was not done. The Way You Love Me was finished by Michael 100% - This is just new mix to sound more recent. And I think that Best Of Joy and Hollywood Tonight (the only tracks that we didn't hear yet) were probably 75% finished. So only 3 tracks are completed from rough demos and that is because they don't have any other recent material because that asshole will.i.am doesn't want to release his tracks.

Michael is not here to complete the tracks and give them his final blessing but would you rather have no new MJ tracks or 30 new tracks? What would you do in their (The Estate) position?

Isn't this a general discussion thread? Where both opinions are welcome as long as they're respectful? Because there's also a "I support this album" thread.

Much too soon has been completed in 2010...The harmonica was not there before

Another day has been remixed in 2010 and it's not the version MJ knew

Hold My hand also !

The way you love me also !

Hollywood tonight has been finished with Riley and Taryl...

wake up : Nothing on this album has been approved by MJ : NOTHING !

even "behind the mask" is rumored to have been remixed this year !

Why do you just keep repeating the same things over and over again? You are becoming a bore.

You are one of a small minority of people who share the same view. Even if we take the poll on this forum, you are in a minority of about 20% of people who will not buy this album. If you include the rest of the music buying public (those not interested in the 'Fake' nonsense), you will be in a tiny minority of people boycotting the album due to your spurious reasoning.

Just because you are in an ever decreasing minority, it will not make people join you in your lost cause, just because you repeat things over and over again.

We heard you the first time. We just don't care.

Of course, but he already stated his opinion XY times in few different topics (often in OFFTOPIC discussion ;)) so now he is only spamming / flaming.

Remixed yes, but not changed drasticly. I think that Michael would aprove all non-Cascio tracks. He would like these new mixes and he would be proud to be on the top again. I don't aprove Cascio tracks either but boycotting the album just because 3 tracks is stupid.

I think that summarizes everything: You just don't care wether this is Michael's work or not. You just want your shot and that's it.

Don't make the mistake of judging others by your own values. You, and those like you, come across as being the 'selfish' ones to me.

Your bullying tactics won't work with me, so don't waste your energy.

I'm glad the songs have been re-worked. Why?

1) because MJ would never have released them if the sounds were 20 years old anyway

2) the album has to sound similar and flow. Some modernizing has to be expected

3) MJ is not here to re-work them himself so the estate has to do their best

Stop complaining and try to see things out of a more realistic light. This is the way things will be from now on. Enough with the "Michael never approved" nonsense. He's not alive to approve! So you have two options: No more posthumous releases, or new albums of material. You pick.

You said you didn't care, Deano. I didn't create it, did I?

And believe me, I know I won't convince "those like you". You are too much into it. But if I can have a very small inluence on someone who is here to catch different opinions before he makes his decision, then that's enough for me.

Have a nice day :)

Do you think that there will be, one day, songs remixed of the Beatles or Pink FLoyd or Dire Straits or Prince on any official album ?

please, answer !

Yes, after people die, it is common to rework some of their music.

Also loka, I am getting about tired of you going into every single thread associated with this album to spew the same sentences over and over again. Please take this as a warning... Stop it. Just stop it.

examples ?

You go look it up and do your own research. It is very common and I am sure you will find it easily. I have more things to do with my time then engage in a fruitless conversation with someone who's chief goal here is to obviously cause trouble. I don't have the time or the patience. Take it upon yourself to educate yourself.

And please take my warning seriously.

examples ?

The Beatles - 'Free As A Bird' 1995

I believe MJ stopped this from getting to the top of the charts? 'Earth Song', being number 1 in the UK for 6 weeks, stopped them I think I am right in saying.

Besides. What about the Beatles songs/videos being released over and over again every few years - the same songs time after time only 'Remastered' or 'Box Sets' - their fans don't seem to organise boycotts every time a product is released.

Perhaps The Beatles have more decent fans than MJ does. Such a shame.

please, answer !

No, because most of the members of those bands & prince are still alive to have a say in what happens to their music.Michael is no longer with us of course, so he can't speak.Certain individuals are now in charge of Michaels legacy. Some people will like what is going on, some won't.Either way.Tough.There is not much you can do about it.

You have made it obvious time & time again that you are not happy with how things are being handled. You have made it clear what you think. You won't be supporting the album & you don't think much of Hmh or the vision DVD release. It is your choice to not buy future mj projects if they don't meet your criteria if you wish.It is my choice to support this album, along with other members of this board. You will not change our minds by constantly telling us to "wake up" on the matter of fake tracks, etc. I think for myself & won't have opinions forced on me.I respect people with opposite opinions to my own on here enough not to for example, go into the threads where people think tracks on the new album are fake.I don't go around telling people to "wake up".

Please, stop spreading negativity on this board, myself along with a few others are getting fed up with the negative rants.

You knew what I meant I am sure. You just wanted to twist it to suit your 'agenda'.

I think you will find that people will be turned off 'your argument' if all your supporters do is invade every thread with the same comments, over and over again.

Most normal people do not take kindly to the tactics 'boycotters' are using. It's a bit like those persistant nuisance calls that keep coming to your homes in the evening, they're not invited and they're not welcome.

That's true!

And also there was another song called "Real Love", by the Beatles! And there was also much complaining about what they did to john lennons part, who was (of course) not there to give his blessing.
But i and many others love these 2 songs by the beatles. It was amazing to hear John on a new track, after years!

And you're right with Earth Song, i think it kicked "free as a bird" from the top spot..

I like the expression "normal people". I guess you consider yourself and all the people buying the album as "normal people". And the one who don't buy it are "not normal people". That's a funny way to see things. Funny to see that people who don't spread the same message than your are "not invited and not welcome".

At least these remastered albums are the real albums. I can't see what this has to do with the "Michael" fake album.

Deano, I'd be glad to know your definition of the word "decense".

I find it quite disturbing that you want to influence others. It's almost like you want to brainwash people.Like some kind of religious cult.

Just stop it for gods sake. Not everyone believes the album has fake tracks.Get over it.You don't see people who believe in the album try & influence you & force their opinions on you so please, just stop.

'Free as a bird' never made number 1 at all. MJ stopped it.

I remember a story where the 'top brass' at Apple sent a copy of the record to the 'big boys at Sony, with a note saying "This will be number 1 at Xmas - happy holidays!"

The story goes that Sony sent it back stuffed up a turkey's bottom saying "No chance!".

LOL!

MJ beat The Beatles to Xmas number 1 - I loved it!!

You are the brain washer, April :) You are the one who don't want "those like me" around here, so that "those like you" can be free to brainwash everyone and convince them to buy the album.
I have my opinion, and I feel free to express it as long as I do it with respect. And of course I'm happy to convince people sometimes about one thing or another, and I'm happy to be convinced some other times. I like dialogue. But if you start by saying that I'm going to be banned, sorry, I can't respect you. :)

You don't put your opinion across with respect.NOT ONCE have I told people who believe that the new album has fake tracks that they are wrong. Not ONCE.So get your facts right about me. If you don't respect me, fine.Respect is earned. You won't get it by telling people who choose to believe in the new album, that they are wrong.

How many times, and on how many threads, do you have to say "I'm not buying the album because I don't agree with it", before people are allowed to say "I hear you already!"??

Repeating the same things over and over again is not adding anything to the conversation is it? It seems like the people boycotting the single/the dvd/the album have to say it every few pages or others will forget - NO WE WON'T.

That is the thing with a 'negative' though isn't it? It's not 'productive' or particularly 'interesting'. Once someone has said "NO" or "I'm not willing to change my mind", where is there to go?

With a 'positive' there is much more to explore. There is much more to debate, discuss, and consider. It's a fact of life that 'positives' are always enjoyed more than 'negatives'.

The positive people have moved on from hearing those that are just a plain "NO!", and we want to discuss the details of "Yes". What can the "NO!" people bring of any interest? They are not buying the album, so they can not discuss which songs they like the best. They are not buying the album, so they can not interact with others about how excited they are to hear MJ's vocals on "XXXX".

I, for one, am fed up of people trying to spoil every single conversation with the same negative comments. I thought we have threads specifically just for those not buying the album. I don't invade those threads because they don't interest me, and because I respect they are for like minded people who want to talk to eachother about how they are not getting the album - though, for the life of me, I can not see the convesations being long or interesting.

How about some respect for the threads where people are happy to buy the album and want to discuss the 'positives' they see?

I agree wholeheartedly.I just want to discuss positive things with no drama. It seems that isn't possible on here anymore.
