Re: Hmmmmm....

Hey, an awful lot has been said since I logged off about 20 hours ago... this whole mess seems to run and run!

Yesterday I wasn't sure about the whole thing, the first time I listened to the song, I really didn't believe it was michael. However, before I heard the song, and over the weekend, all I saw were stories about possible fake songs. So maybe my judgment was clouded?

I sat here for 6 hours yesterday reading comment after comment and have started to believe that maybe, we have got it wrong. With each of us playing off eachother this whole thing seems to have snowballed to where it is today.

Sony did make a statement yesterday claiming that the song was 100% genuine. We are all sat waiting for an "official" announcement that the song is fake, when maybe it just isn't. I have been a fan of Michael's for over 20 years, was at the trial, and the memorial service... I am as much a fan as everybody here... But I do believe this is Michael.

As far as I am aware there are 2 acapella versions of this song... one a fan created yesterday by removing the music track, and one that is being banded about as the "official acapella". I have just listened to the "official" version... this is Michael, from my heart.

The phrasing and expression are Michael, the pronounciation in every lyric is Michael.

Sure, the finished version has been dubbed, and over dubbed. The words have been stretched, pulled about and remixed to create a "commercial" sound. But I really believe that if we could only hear the original recording, the DEMO, then we would hear that it is Michael.

I believe for sure that the DEMO of this song would sound completely different, even the tune and the speed would be different for sure. And Teddy has done a bad job in production and "finishing" of this song, it sounds cheap and nasty, I really hate the opening segment and is a bad quality copy of Tabloid Junkie... but it is what it is.

Without Michael here to finish each and every track, we are not going to hear what we expect to hear. It's never going to sound the way that Michael would want it to sound. What the producers are working with are DEMO recordings, and they are trying to make the best out of it.

I believe in you guys, the fans. I have met many of you and believe in your passion, integrity and heart felt beliefs. We are all united as one. But for now I think we should all sit back, relax, and enjoy this album for what it really is...

A legacy, left for us by the KING of entertainment to enjoy....

With the L.O.V.E
With all my respect, I think you dont have a fine ear, it took me one time to know that was not Michael Jackson, only some fews "wooo hoooo" and stuff taken from other material are his, but NO IS NOT MICHAEL, is NOT, sorry guys, is not him, NOT Michael Jackson is Jason Malachi, end. No matter how many "tests " "experts " made those "experts" are PAID to say things to SONY... come ON! COME ON PEOPLE! WAKE UP!

cant believe some of you doubt about MJ voice, that voice is not Michael's.... cant believe it... bye, im out

I cant believe some fans still believe its Michael singing there, im so sad, Michael would be so sad.... its crazy and dessapointing to discover how some fans do not know his art yet....

I'll say it again. This is a fight among record producers to determine
which one will make the most money off of Michael Jackson.
Rather than involve the fans, if someone claims that they have
proof Michael Jackson is not singing on one of the singles for the
new album, he or she should take it to a court of law and
provide the evidence. Of course this might delay the release of
Michael's new album for months, or years, or forever.

Please pray for the well-being of Michael Jackson's children.

22 years of buying his music, i never guessed releases made after he died would be so full of either problems, or unique hype/pr plans.

The sad thing is all those so-called fake tracks probably all contain Michael's vocal. The producers decided to stretch a rough demo and over-produce it by adding imposer's vocals, layering vocals and autotuning. The end product becomes something not recognizable.

Even if Breaking News contains ONLY Michael Jackson vocal, is it okay for the producers to turn the demo to something most MJ fans cannot recognize and are doubtful? The issue is no longer fake vs. real. It's about integrity.

It takes Michael countless time and hard work to achieve his legacy. Unlike other artists, Michael took his time to release albums. He painstakingly fine tuned his arts. It's just not right for his Estate and/or Sony to engage in such shaddy music production.

I can't believe I'm saying this. But, will.i.am was right when he asked "what's wrong with what Michael left us?" Michael left us an amazing catalogue. If the Estate and Sony cannot do the right thing, I'd rather no fradulent posthumous release. It'll break my heart.

I want genuine Michael Jackson albums. Be it an album with demos and outtakes. An album with imposers that pass on as Michael Jackson is definitely not acceptable. Never in my mind that I'd imagine the producers would go this far to "complete" a track.

I have concluded it's either 2 things

1. The fakes are out there on a early test copies along with the REAL tracks as a way to hide the real songs that Sony knew would be leaked online before dec 13. The thinking is that by including fakes it turns people off downloading any supposed new MJ tracks because we all got so angry at the fakes we just don't bother. And so before DEC 13 when we all get told why it was done, we are all happy and run out and buy it.

Obviously after dec 13 like any new release it will be online, but fancy packaging will get us to buy it
or B. They are all deaf and or evil...? time will tell.

So Estate/Sony have not said anything... yet?

Wow, it's so unbelievable that this is happening. :sigh: Surreal!!!! :bugeyed

Waiting... :timer:

You are correct. Jackie said the album is amazing. Now he is saying otherwise. Here's a link with Jackie saying the album is amazing.

AHN: Your brother Michael was reported to have been experimenting with dance music too before he passed.

JJ: His album is going to be incredible when it comes out. So brace yourself. It’s going to be great.

AHN: So you’ve heard some of the material on “Michael”?

JJ: Yeah. It’s amazing. It’s good stuff.

Ok Jackie, I'm seeing..... :girl_whistle:

mjnet.com still goes to breaking news, but yeah when you go into the website, everything goes back to This Is It.

what if the jacksons and others are in on the pr hpye plan in order to protect the real tracks from leaking out?

Nothing happened to the website, it's returned to the Cirque du Soleil theme. How random to have the This Is It page on there for a brief moment..
