Michael - The Great Album Debate

The cascio tracks split and divided the community. If you cant see that, your blind, and deaf to whats going on. Believer or not, these tracks are an issue that will be around for a long time until proven false or mj.

Processing? Poor recording enviroment? All just excuses, i remember reading Adicemanx posting they should release the tracks with unprocessed vocals. They allready have, if anything they adjusted flatnotes. So there is no processed vocals imo. We allready heard all there is to hear.

Another thing they should do is if they release more Cascio songs on an album is give fans a ticket inside the album to download the raw vocals the Cascio songs.

And to clarify: This magical umbrella term of processing has NOT affected the Cascio tracks aside from making them in tune. Hollywood's album version is an example of processing because it literally sounds muffled, like it was recorded on the phone. The "raw vocals" of the Cascio tracks will not be ANY different aside from sounding even MORE unappealing because of several sections being out-of-tune. If any of those tracks are on the next album DESPITE the ordeal this has been... I'm done. I give up. I've already had it with several members of the fanbase, I don't want ANOTHER reason to hate SONY/Estate/more fans.

Seriously, if they decide to release more Cascio tracks, I officially give up with the fanbase. I can't go on with these arguments going on in circles and people saying that they MUST be real because they're still using them! I'll ask to be banned from this site and stay in contact with the few people who know how to reach me. My enjoyment of Michael's music will forever be sullied, and I'll have to think of a different style to have my hair... And a different dress sense... And I'll have to cleanse my MP3 player... And all my game consoles...

(... Damn, my MJ fandom has made life so great... Damn morals...)

But Jesta, this site has nothing to do with the Cascio tracks. Why would you ask to be banned? By the way, you can enjoy all the music by MJ before his death and all the non-Cascio tracks such as STTR, BG, 12 O'Clock, and many other tracks that are going to be released.

Why feeling defeated by fake tracks and people standing behind them? Why not rather purchase only non-Cascio tracks on i-tunes and leave the Cascio tracks to the few buyers who think they hear MJ?

Despite all the negativity surrounding those tracks, there is one positive thing that has come out out of all this thread. The Cascio tracks have been tagged forever as apocryphal. So no matter what, there'll be always a huge shadow of doubt surrounding those tracks. And that's already a small victory in the sense of whatever is doubted is potentially rejected as MJ.
 
The raw vocals would sound no different. I have a breaking neews acappella. I hear the same thing as the album. And no, dont say raw unprocessed becuase the umbrella term processing wasnt done on massive scales to the tracks.....hollywood Album is processes and thats clearly mj

I would ask to be banned so I would never be tempted to return, like I have done in the past when certain comments provoke my opinion. And I guess you're right in a way, I'm just tired by this entire ordeal. Many people can't seem to differentiate "liking" something from "believing" something. It's like in The Odyssey, Odysseus is adored by many (and in theory the reader) as this amazing person and hero, but you know you can never fully trust him because he's a compulsive liar. He's someone you would have BIG doubts about if you ever met him. The same goes for these tracks. The people that seem to believe in their authenticity have it on the main grounds that they like them. They contribute NOTHING to the debate aside from the fact that they like them. How do you debate that? It's not a contribution to get to the bottom of this, it's merely stating that you like the song! Even if I did like the Cascio tracks (which I conceded that I enjoy the instrumentals), I would still say that they're most likely fake and be a doubter! Some people's behaviour has just gotten to me, that's all. Their way of thinking reminds me of a terrible, TERRIBLE person who I'd much rather forget. She had the same ideologies and logical processes when it came to basically everything. I can't have a discussion with someone who thinks that merely liking these tracks is the foundation of the argument that they're Michael.

Unfortunately Bumper, I'm one of those people that enjoys having a CD in the collection, so just downloading the real songs via Amazon or some other site won't have the same thrill for me as putting the CD in my laptop and looking through the booklet as I listen to the tracks... But you're right, it is a small victory.

Anyway the word "processing" is a cary-all catch-all word. It means nothing at all. When someone says that the tracks have been processed, what do you have in your head as a picture of processing other than simply "working" on those tracks, nothing more or nothing magical or chemical is meant by "processing".

I also like having physical cds. However, we have all MJ has given us. The rest would be acceptable to have it as downloaded files as they weren't blessed by MJ anyway. Try thinking like that.

... Huh. I guess you're right. It's not the worst thing in the world, because Michael didn't release them, or finish them in most cases. I guess future albums - if they have these virus Cascio tracks - could be treated as demos and be downloaded... albeit legally.
 
I also like having the physical album. I have the Michael album so i can get WAVs of the other 7 tracks.

I change my stance from earlier. As much as i want to hear the cascio tracks i never want them released. Leaked sure. Released....when the firey lava pit of hell freezes over. And if you dont believe in hell take my words as never ever then.
 
I agree that processing is a nonsense and has become a buzz word to justify why the songs sound like Jason and not Michael. It's all very sad really. As Mj fans we are constantly telling people not to believe everything they read, yet many fans swallowed the estate's statement and simply accepted that the songs are Michael just because...well they have to be right?
 
^ Exactly, i would like the statement to be true. In reality, its just icing on a badcake. Its a cover up.

They have to be hiding something, and we know they are aware of the controversy. So if they had evidence it would have been shown instantly...not a year or two later.

I bet the showed us everything they could. Whos with me?

I just wish these separations have been made

this site has nothing to do with Cascio tracks
there are a lot of other MJ related releases coming up that has nothing to do with the tracks
and even people have different opinions they have nothing to do with the tracks

I can understand the official version "it's him", but I don't care about the reasons pushing them why they say it's him.

The issue is that the voice doesn't sound HIM. So even if it was him, the voice sounds as much as if it wasn't him.

But, what intrigues me the most among all these things is how on Earth any MJ fan hear MJ's voice on those songs. This is something that really is bugging me? I am trying hard to understand and am listening and relistening to those songs just to try to understand the believers when they say they hear Michael. But no matter how many times I listen to the songs, each time I frown, I cringe.

I tried to stop listening to the tracks and take a break. I re-listened after a long break, and again, I frowned and cringed. Same reaction.

So I really can't understand the believers' ability to hear Michael on those tracks, and I'd wish so much.

Because your mind is set with: These aren't MJ/This is Jason.
Same could be said about me, but I have mentioned many times I do hear MJ's voice easily in tracks like KYHU.
 
Just to clarify: when I said I would request to be banned if more Cascio tracks would be released, that was ONLY because of the fact that I would not want the temptation of returning to debate again. I would want to stay away from MJ fans in general (aside from the 5-7 or so that have since become good friends in general) because the whole thing has become too tiring for me.

So Ivy, I wasn't trying to insinuate that MJJC took a stance on this issue or anything like that. I apologize if my post wasn't properly worded.

My mind is set it must be Michael Jackson because it's on the officially released album. So I listen and I cringe.

Just to remind you, when I first heard them I didn't even know who the Cascios were . I didn't know who was Roger Friedman, he has no influence here in Europe and you know it.

And that very first time I cringed and frowned. I even instantly removed my earphones cuz it struck me.
