Michael - The Great Album Debate

Some other MJ site said 3 tracks have leaked. One from Invincible and two 'sound like the Michael album' I don't know if true, but I thought of letting you guys know :D

Which site?

It can't be MJDHF because Sony have shut it down.

Wait, the source of the story is MJStar, who are well known to fabricate things. I would be surprised if there was a leak. Damn, I wanted an Invincible song... Maybe one of the "Michael" songs, if it wasn't from that bad batch.

Apart from Stella, did everyone get the PM.. Well you'll know now anyways :D

I didn't, but I kinda dispelled it... Sorry guys, no awesome Invincible/MJ-at-the-top-of-his-game-creatively-and-vocally song... And a possibly-good-but-also-possibly-heartbreakingly-Cascio "Michael" song.

That is why MJJC is the best place to be! ( that rhymes!!) :( need a new leak :(

They are just a bunch of crappy fan made remixes. Alhough one is more convincing than the Cascio tracks. lol.

Love the "MJ-at-the-top-of-his-game-creatively-and-vocally" description. :punk:

Invincible is the album I play the most

Me too, it's the only album I can listen to beginning to end without wanting to skip a track. HIStory comes next, and there are still a song or two on Dangerous, Bad and Thriller that I have no real recollection of. Still haven't properly sat down to Off the Wall. There's a few songs I've grown to like, but I haven't sat down and listened to the full album yet. Nor the Motown solo albums... I don't even have any Jackson 5 studio albums... But I digress. With the exception of Off the Wall, I have listened to every MJ album song... I just don't remember a few of 'em that well. Really, only about 2 or 3.

Wonder how many people would be fooled by this if a couple of Mj breaths etc were pasted in?

Wow... More convincing than Breaking News/Stay/Burn2Nite...

Who do you think is singing it? No cheating lol.

I do kinda want to say Malachi but if it is, then he's improved. But at the same time, the voice is noticeably whispered, so attempt is more successful because it's harder to tell. From listening to another song, it's more obvious that it's more than likely Malachi. It just proves that if you want to copy MJ, always try to whisper more, it sounds more authentic. Then again, the Cascio vocals in places sound pretty hushed, like the vocalist is trying to keep quiet. Not that successful, but it's noteworthy.

What am I hearing about newly leaked songs? Source is MJSTAR? (lol).

Yup, MJStar is the source. The songs are apparently just fan made remixes.

Yep it's our good friend Jason.

Thought so. Damn he's improved since we last heard our loathed audio nemesis. Though he's not improved so much as learned to whisper to sound better. So I take the compliment back. He's just more successful here than the Cascio vocalist was.

Sadly, when it comes to leaks we really want to believe anything. It's said that these worthless tracks were leaked very quickly last year, while the good complete songs and demos have had very brief snippets. I wanna hear People of the World, dammit! Now that's a demo, and what a beta song SHOULD sound like. The power and the soul is still there, he's just not trying. Not a noticeably weaker voice singing fully.

OTW is an album I play the least. Girlfriend probably is my least favorite MJ song. I like the title track though.

For the Jackson's albums, try Destiny and Triumph. Two great albums. Contrary to what so many here tend to believe, the brothers were not entirely talentless. The way the Jackson's vocals blend in together with Michael's voice is amazing.

Destiny, Bless His Soul and Time Wait For No One are lovely ballads.

Oh yeah, I like the song Off the Wall, I had a new appreciation for it after reading Joe Vogel's book. Kinda wish they kept that song in the IMMORTAL Horror Medley instead of Monster (which based on Joe's analysis, would've blended in REALLY well and as such I think it was there) I also have all the Jacksons albums in a CD slipcase collection. Unfortunately their debut album got scratched horribly because the disc tray decided to close when I was taking it out... It still works though! :D And I agree, Michael's voice with his brothers was very effective and worked well.
