Michael - The Great Album Debate

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

By united in the issue, I meant that something is suspicious in this whole affair and how these tracks were "brought to completion". I have a very tough time believing that Eddie would betray Michael like that. I'm thinking more like Ivy now, that they have merged the voices with another to create harmonies and to give the voice more fullness, possibly with James Porte's voice. In that scenario, MJ could've lost the flair in his voice, it all depended on how the second voice sang. I was actually wondering if they did that for a long time, though I only brought it up once before.

The thing is, if they did do that, it's hardly ethical to release them. It's like Akon releasing all the other ideas he had with MJ by merging his vocals with MJ's to fill them out. I personally want to listen to Michael Jackson. Not Mecha Jackson, Michael Porte or any impersonator.

What does that pic have anything to do with the songs? Yeah, it's pretty obvious they were friends ("were" being the key word there) but there's no actual proof that Michael indeed recorded those songs. No pics of Michael recording, no audio during takes, no hand written notes, no demos, no nothing.

I just want to wake up and have Michael alive, happy and touring, no Cascios, no debates, no nothing.

Somebody please wake me up from this nightmere.

Michael recorded these songs in the Cascio home and that picture is Michael with a member of the Cascio family.

"Upside" made it. Maybe he'll take your advice.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Excellent! But seriously, you should make a whole song! And then ask people if they hear two distinguished voices or the same. But already from this snippet you hear only one and the same voice.

For me sounds exactly like the same song because I've only heard Monster once and I've hardly noticed the snippets.

Again? What does the pic have anything to do with the songs? It's just a picture of Michael and Eddie Cascio.

Where's the actual proof that they indeed recorded thoses songs?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Set aside Michael's pasted bits on the Cascio songs, how can one hear MJ in those songs and not hear exactly the same voice in the Jason's songs? I just try to understand that.

I don't have any proof, and neither do you.

KingmikeJ, have you listened to the last link that Pentum provided. YOu don't have to be honest with anyone here, but just to yourself, don't you hear the same voice on that track?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I'll listen to it now...

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Ok, the voices do sound quite similar. I have always said Let Me Let Go is the Jason Malachi song that sounds most like Michael.

I agree. When Let me let go was released I was tricked. i thought it was MJ. I have always admitted it and I've never been ashemd of having been tricked. But when you've been tricked once, you can hardly be tricked twice.

Also, the day I was tricked was around 2007 when the new MJ album was rumoured to be released, so many of us were actually tricked.

Most like the Cascio Michael or the not Cascio Michael? I'm confused.

On the contrary, if you could be fooled once you would be more lightly to be fooled again especially given that this time the tracks are actually on an mj album and defended by his estate...

I agree with you, and I was tricked too. Once it was confirmed that it was not Michael I spent ages listening to Malachi (Mamacita tricked me too) and taught myself to hear the differences between Michael and Malachi.

It's all the same Michael but I mean his older work because I first heard that in 2007.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Why do you keep posting pictures of Michael and the Cascios?

Again, it's pretty obvious that they were friends, nobody's denying that. And while we've got comparisons and a hard dose of common sense along side with an open mind, the Cascios still just go: "Well, it's just Michael!".

I get that this is an unfalsifiable hypotheses, just like God. You can't actually prove God is real, but you can't actually disprove him either. All you can do is point out a lot of facts and ask a lot of questions that point out is highly unlikely existance. Same with the Cascios.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I think if someone will make the same kind of comprasion that pentum just posted, but with an unreleased cascio song, everyone will think it's a JM song and won't hear differences between the two songs mixed - cause it's JM in the two of them!

Please don't compare the Cascios to God.

Off topic: A person on Twitter called: xMidnightRider --What was his username at MJJC?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Did you even read the first part of my post? Or you totally forgot about it after being morally outraged by the fact that God is indeed a unfalsifiable hypotheses?

Btw, in the first part of my post I asked you a question and I'm still waiting for an answer.

That is completely untrue!

You must see the circumstances.

First, at that time nobody had ever heard of JM and nobody was close to MJ's voice as JM is.

Second, an album was meant to come out. We were discussing it on this very board.

Third, "Let me let go" leaked as an MJ song.

Fourth, I didn't hear MJ on all of the song but on some parts.

Fifth, I was fooled for a couple of hours, not for months.

Sixth, since then I became much more vigilant before judging if I hear MJ or not. That is to say if I have the slightest doubt as I did have with Let Me Let go from the very beginning, then something is worng. And indeed, Let me let me go happened to be a non-MJ song, I should have stuck to my doubt from the very beginning, but i didn't as I privileged the parts of teh song where I thought I heard MJ.

Seventh and the final point, now that I know JM's voice, he can't possibly trick me ever.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Bumper, I agree. Since then we have been listening more carefully to MJ songs or leaks to decide if it is Michael. The thing is, I hear Michael in the Cascio songs.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

^^ What a lovely family photo!! I just have an incredibly hard time believing that these folks would betray Michael after all that they were there for him.
